You've just found the technique to overcome this yourself. Kill several at once, then pick them up.

further more: ryzom isn't a rush rush rush game, ryzom is a play for decades and still have stuff to do game. (personally i have over 2 YEARS of play time, and still have more then half my skills to master, still have many tribal fames that need to be worked on, ect.)

Other games - they give you a cookie whether you succeed or not, in fact you don't even have to participate. Ryzom takes your cookie, eats it in front of you, and slaps you 2 or 3 times for bringing a cookie in the first place.

temporary solution for advanced users is to use macro to pick up loot:

1. system
2. Macros
3. New macro
4. Add command
5. Category - Action
6. Action - quarter (ignores animation of death)
7. Key (assign, example e)

there's a macro that lets you farm, collect and regenerate if you want...
while you drink coffee and watch a netflix series.

Get to know the game before trying to revolutionize it. Leave that to those who have been playing it for years.
