Disable at least the following commands for free trail accounts:

/follow (follow by right click entity & click is fine)
/target (all kinds of)

including macro versions of it

I understand the logic behind this suggestion, but as a new player- I would have been lost early game without the ability to closely follow the older player helping to show me the game. The /follow command is a huge benefit for new players needing to be shown around. It's easy to get lost or fall behind otherwise...

Use the UI for follow: target an entity, rightclick on screen, chose follow

Use the Chat to say, that you fall behind
Use the Compass for orientation
Use the Map for orientation

there is no need for a command to follow, its just for automation

The idea is so-so... A new player comes, and you tell him from the doorstep "all the amenities for a premium subscription". Do you think there will be many people who want to stay in the game?

I don't care about the people who complain at the beginning of their gaming experience. I care that the game can be run fairly.

Maybe I'm missing something but this makes absolutely no sense.

I totally support to disable macros for free accounts.

Those macros Nightviper mentions are especially irritating for free accounts.

Anyone who contradicts: This does not change at all what you can do as player. It impacts only what you can *automate*. Macros do not influence what you can do with the UI. You can use follow, you can use assist. But you simply cannot use it in complex actions and bind them to a single key stroke. This change would make commanding a bot army of support chars harder or require them to run at least on a paid account (though 30€ per year probably would not change the use a lot - but at least funnel a few €€ towards the game).

Failing to explain why free-to-play need these macros and only using an ad-hominem, I must assume you do exactly as I describe, profit from it but have no good arguments otherwise :)

Thanks for your valuable, insightful contribution.

Everything you suggested sounds silly for several reasons, such "chips" are in other games and they are free. On what basis a novice player should pay for this, you have not explained.
