Regarding the patch to the patch .... 2019-07-27.

Can we please have our mission color codes back ?

Craft = Kinda Blue
Explore = Kinda Green
Forage = Kinda Purple
Kill / Loot = Kinda Orangey / Red

The last patch made Craft Missions a waste of T & E handling out say 1,000 Fame in sysinfo fr digging 150 mats and crafting 10 items while "Run to this OP 200m away" provides 18,000.

So, when arriving at the various NPCs, typical routine might be Round 1: Grab all the Kill / Loot / Explore missions and then Round 2: Grab all the forage Missions. No ya kinda have to read them ! All kidding aside, was there a functional reason for making them all the same ... it was much more convenient before.

+1

Please give back the color codes! They are quite useful and save time.

Regarding the updated craft missions, I spotted an oversight: the "urgent" missions didn't get their timer adjusted (last time I checked), so they became mostly impossible to complete. Like crafting 40 boots in 1'30" (or something like that).

+1. I agree with Freddy and Mai, the mission color coding system helped us quickly pick missions we knew we wanted to take without having to sift through all of them. Thanks for considering.

don't quite understand, if players are complaining about "too similar" colors, how removing all colors is a fix

Some are actually impossible... mobs that don't exist in the region or even in game so you have to solo a named or boss.... stiff that weighs so much it exceeds what you can carry ... most of the ones as you describe can be done w/ a bit of a hack. When ya see the mission, read it, take notes and abandon it ... figure out what mats you will need.

Get the mats and a tool. Go back to the NPC and take the mission, while standing in front of them and hand in when done. You can to them in bunches if the bulk exceeds what bag can hold. I usually have my packer w/ me and have it hold the mats. If y aneed 40, then can hand in say 10 at a time. The ones in double digits tho are usally ammo which outside of launchers has a lot of bullets in each craft.

I add my voice as well. Colour coding was awesome to know what kind of missions (and rewards) you were in the mood for! Now they all look very unatractive!

Karu came on and explained that folks one of persons expressed dismay that the color codes were too similar to the nation colors and that there scrolls contain and image that tells you what they are.  My issue is that those "inkings" are small and hard to distinguish.  Perhaps the ink could be colored instead of the background ?

I can undestand, sorta the nation thing if someone is just starting, doing only nation fame, and assuming that the colors were possible nation related ... but after realizing that there's no correlation, it kinda vanishes.  I think using colored ink on the scrolls for the images would make both camps happy.

Indeed, the fact that they used the same coding as nations could be arguably confusing, but as you say, disregarded after 1 time..

Either new Ink or new background colour code, or even the old colours x)

Honestly i find it such a waste of dev time to change things that have no issues and that in turn bother so many people...

I get what you mean, I already do crafting missions as you describe.
My point was : the update missed to adjust the timers to reflect the new quantity of items to be made.

The 1 minute 30 seconds I mention was a mission requiring 5 earrings to be handed over to the NPC. Now it's 40 earrings to be made and handed over in 90 seconds. At 3 seconds per crafting *action*, that already takes 120 seconds just for the making. The mission has to be active for the crafting action to be valid, so we ended up with newly impossible to complete missions.
And I'm not even taking of all the time required to click though recipe selection, mats selection, and handing items over to the NPC (5 times x 8 items), which would probably amount to another additional whole minute.

Yes there are a few that the time limit is virtually impossible, most notably the wandering PR NPCs that are standing inmiddle of aggro while you have short timers.   But most of those short timers I have been able to "get'er done" by bringing the mats before hand.  And with "Wundahmat" abundantly available during event, having no bulk crafting mats is a huge aid.
