Hello,

 

Last night, I crashed while talking to Thesos NH.

I created a ticket this morning.

 

Other toons on the accounts are ok.

 

I can log and choose CraftJenn, I see Thesos (and NPC mooving), the mouse cursor turn and then Ryzom crash after 2 sec.

 

I tried to:

* renamme the cache folder

* moved all craftjenn's files in the save folder (.log .xml and icfg)

I tried on an other PC (linux too), freshly patched: same issue.

 

It seems then it's not an issue on the client, but mayebe on the server ?

(As craftjenn on other PC: crash. All toons on same account ok. All toons on my 2nd account are all ok.)

 

Any other idea ?

I never know what to look for in ryzom logs :). If it happened me, I would start the client from terminal and observe what it drops there.

But to me it sounds like a problem with specific character in case you say all others are ok (and problem is client independent). Did you try to talk to Thesos NH operator with other character of same account?

I get "Erreur de segmentation (core dumped)" - it means "Segmentation error".

Yes: no issue.I guess it's hollidays... No feed back from support (not even a ticket number)...Thanks Moniq :p

I tried too to desactivate all apps (web + In Game, as some are KO these last days): same issue.

As in client.log, with Craftjenn I saw the last line was "Item group migration from old system to new system is done !", I tried with an other toon on the same account a /listGroup
... and it crashed (just after the result display).
So, as there's several bugs regarding these new commands, I suspect, maybe, it could be related ?

Hm, yes I saw that in your log as well, but no idea what it is and I am not using this feature with groups nor been doing any testing AFAIK.

I have posted link to your last post on bugs channel, however I don't know who is responsible for this code. I will try to discover who is it and if there might be a problem.

Are you able to write me exact steps to do to reproduce the crash?

I just login, choose Craftjenn. Mouse cursor is turning (life bars to 0), I see the message "you are in Thesos", then it quit
