Upon returning to the game, that very place might have become a area of some OP fight (nearby) withuot that having been the case the last time the player was active in the game as the character that be now returning

At the moment of re-entry into active play ingame then comes the unsettling surprise (if nothing gets changed on the proposed OP Battles scheme being discussd) that the player becomes forced to do pvp and or OP battle.

I sincerely hope that a way for the player character to in that case simply immediately leave will be achieved and i believe that then neither the OP battle participants nor the pvp active player characters would be then in any way harmed nor are they then as far as i can see in any danger of spying then getting done by the refugee.

My problem with the matter is the being forced to do pvp and/or OP battle even if for whatever reason one as Player intend not to ever do such. That is my own personal stance, but i can well imagine that at least some othr players harbor similar feelings and intentions here in ryzom. 8/

If there is a zone when you can attack every players, its like that, so you deal with it and you don't go in this zone if you do not want to be involved.

I can understand that it is not your intend, and you don't want to be part of OP, but then again just don't go when the battle is starting, its simple :)

You are free in Ryzom, and you are neutral, you are a peaceful mushroom growing slowly in a cave, all is good, life is good.
Just don't go into OP if you don't want to be involved in it, and let us play with our game mechanics :)

No no i understand perfectly this point do not worry.
Just im saying, and with reason you will admit, this is a MMORPG ONLINE
The world evoluate without you, because you are not the center of the world.

The same if you log off in the wild, if you log in after a while or a server reboot, you may have aggro on you at connection.

Your reaction really make me think of this type of player, that are thinking they are the center of the world,
thinking the game they are playing is the solo player game,
that do not evoluate when they log off or if they press "pause".

Starting to be a bit disapointed to see this game community so static, mainly because of people like you..
Anyway out of subject i apoligize !

That's the worst about this discussion - you can't even get DP! When killed in PvP you get no DP, that's why I don't understand the whole discussion either and think it's useless.

As for dp....: happens ingame in all manner of circumstances. It can be a throwback in plans .. but it is at least reparable and it is an ingame phenomena ... a part of the game for all. So it is if at all then only peripherally a part of the matter up for discussion. <-- imho naturally

You are quite right to protest about the game stagnating if it be dooing that... honestly though, i do not see that being the case. as for the center of the (ryzom) world (Atys) thank goodness i am not it and also not there but elsewhere! I do not think i would stand a chance of surving my very firss toestep onto it, the truth be told ;) 8)

@Tryroamer , nobody is forcing you to kill another homins nor to be part of the OP battle.

I don't understand how it's hard to understand that you can step back from the zone or avoid the fighting crowd in that zone ? (and even by being OP flagged, you can still teleport yourself somewhere else...).

Maybe you want the PvP to be removed from the game, if so can you make a post in ideas and suggestion section ?

Either way, as Seila mentions, no DP for PVP unless a mob gets dragged on you.

Rest assured.

And yes +1 for anything to give more time, +1 for new things. We can always balance as we go.

Re: Guild Islands

The first question I had was about where to find the "Guild Island Agent". For Yrkanis, locating the nearby agent, "Deles Silam" did not take long.

The second question was about the cost of establishing an island. So far as I can tell, the cost is zero. Without guild points, I was able to establish an Island, spawn "Touby", and spawn the "Intendant".

I noted that, from the guild island, the "ROOM" inventory is visible and the items are clickable. Room contents were, otherwise, inaccessible from the guild island.
