It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we want to inform the Ryzom community on the passing of GM Merrielyn. He has been sick for many many years but he had a massive stroke on Sunday the 15th of August and passed away on Friday 20th of August.

For those that have been here for many years, he was also known as CSR Lanti, from the Jolt CSR team.

He will be missed greatly

Merrielyn was a very cheerful, helpful, loveable CSR, a great member of this community. We were always happy to welcome him when he logged on and I was very sad to learn about his passing away on Facebook.

Merrielyn will forever be in our hearts and memories. May he rest in peace after such a long and hard combat. <3

I only knew Merrielyn from some brief encounters with her as a CSR, but the feeling I got from her matches what everyone else is saying. ((Of course now I know that "her" = "him", but that really doesn't matter.))

I am saddened by the passing of one who was so helpful and pleasant.

Merry, I knew you and your wife for so many years, the laughs and fun we had in game was one of the special things that set this game apart from all the others. I will remember you in my heart for allways. My deepest condolences to the family, wife and son. You are and allways will be loved.
