IDEAS FOR RYZOM

The main reason why I stopped playing was because it became so easy to have supreme materials. They are not rare at all anymore... I've seen many people destroy supreme Zun amps because they just have too many of them. Go a couple years back and they were actually rare. When it comes to boosted equipment, it has become a standard instead of an exciting improvement. When there is no challenge, the motivation goes away, and so do the players.

I could not be more in favor of all this. Yes, yes and yes!

I think the priority should be to drastically reduce the amount of supreme materials in a node. Also, it would be great if the nodes stopped respawning at reboots (since it only advantages random people that are there when it happens) and respawn instead at random times (a bit like bosses).

I think the excess of mats is just a symptom to the loss of a lot of PVP players...

We could completely move SN away from craftable mats and into a type of mission mat that can be turned in for guild or faction points... maybe a week long duration, top 5 guilds get x number of points.

Just had another idea- instead of being able to prospect all the versions of each mat from a SN, have it randomly spawn only one type. For example, you go the amber SN looking for 300 Zun, but only 300 Beng spawned :D

I'm going to put these on their own threads.

Well...... that what Sinvaders is asking/requesting/saying since... years and years now.
The players database is way to low for the amount of supremes available, its not like the old server's

The amount of Pvp is close (if not) to 0 !!!
Most players interested to play the (real) game of resource did leave since no more challenge, and no point to go in SN anymore.

I shall remind you that it is also very very easy to go dig traditional spots (wasteland),
and get tons of supremes without the need to fight any homins.

The Kp's are not a challenge at all, its just a game of patience.

And since they do not want to make the Wasteland PvP (which Roleplay wise should be Lawless), here we are now.

A few cranky observations from an old Tryker.

All you people who have lots of desirable Sup materials (like Zun amber) might consider putting them on the market so that small, non PvP, guilds could have a chance at them. If the markup doesn't suit you, put them up in the Bazaar.

(Yes, this comment is in my own self-interest, but there are plenty of other small guilds that don't have Sup materials.)

As for quantity of Sup mats per spawn, I'm not sure how 75-82 mats is "too many". Cut it down much below that and it becomes even less worthwhile to bother dealing with weather, KP and other random aggro just to get a few scraps.

PvP = 0 --- There's an answer to that as well as to the low server population. Invite your friends and do your thing.

Well go dig like everyone else.. but agree, markets interaction between players should be encouraged.

They was (we are) mostly talking about the amount of supremes in SN.
so 300~ a node.

Surely not, this is an indication of the game itself.
When a game has low server population, it mean a lot of things.
Can you have a grasp of what it mean? ;)

Well, because there is absolutely no challenge to empty a spot in 250 Prime roots area. All is a matter of patience. Second point is that nobody is digging traditional spot at reboot too, means that you can be alone or with your mate emptying all spot of 1 region.
And then there is the SN which offer at least 300 mats per spot each seasons. I'm saying at least because we all know what a reboot is doing ... depending on the reboot time, you might be alone on your SN super-spot and get everything for yourself.

And I agreed with what Xolok said.

Well, the PvP population left the game, long time ago and there is very good reasons for that.
