During the JY2603 patch, we started the implementation of a project to (re)highlight the game's 11,000 missions ( https://app.ryzom.com/app_forum/index.php?page=topic/view/29797/1 ).However, it turned out that through overenthusiasm, we went a little too fast and withdrew the rewards of the old NH version a little too early, before we had properly upgraded and balanced the missions and occupations.As a result, we have decided to bring the old version of NH back into play *temporarily*, which will allow us to:no longer penalize players because of a release of the new version of NH made before missions and occupations are revalued and balancedto give us time to revalue and properly balance the traditional missions and occupations.Then we will put back in place the current version of NH. Riasan (dev) is working this week to recode the old version of NH and it will be tested this weekend.
Don't know if my question is relevant for missions modifications, but it seems to me that when the merge occurred, the idea was to boost economy again. Namely give to dappers a value. It seems we come back to MP as means of exchange in Ryzom. That I link to missions, among other features.
Nation points have to be given again. Because no points means no crystals, and no crystals means no pex.Or the loss of nation points from NH have to be replaced by some counterpart.

I remind that the move back to the old version of NH is temporary only. As soon as the missions and occupations will be revalued and balanced, we'll put again the current version of NH.
The rewards in nation points or dappers should depend of time spent, the one in fame only of completed missions.

Actually, players preferred the old way of working because it meant that, for perhaps 30 minutes, they could do occupations to gain dapper + factions points, after which they were free to enjoy their time on Atys doing whatever they pleasedSo, actually, the old way of working supported freedom of choiceBut, my question is this:
if there are missions for the occupations, there is no need to do step 4, because no one will use this step if there is a better one than the actual NH, so if there are missions for occupations, the nh needs a new system or he diesthe old one is overpowered maybe..the new one is Under powered

Hm, I don't see how that will work because mostly, it seems that players preferred the rewards from NH + the freedom of choice it gives them. The re-balanced missions take too much time.
i have listened attentively to this discussion: a suggestion i already made in the foren might be here worth repeating: when all has been balanced and tested and found to be goodadditionally the missions results (occupational) could be given new value as ingredients needed to other accomplishments those improved occupational missions perhaps already do this? if so then the problems here feared do not come into being

the old system without caps of 3000 and a little less reward, then everyone has the free choice, is not permanently restricted if 3-4 people give at the same time and still gets a usable reward

To freddy: there is many way to up your fame to 50, NH was so easy,it was used to the detriment of all the missions dedicated to fame :p
The new Marauder region under creation will be located near the Nexus and will be connected to it by a vortex. The working group is in the process of adding vegetation to this new area, which is empty by default. Important note: this new map is the first one we are creating from scratch, which is very promising for the future!So we managed to reach the ultimate stage dreamed of when Ryzom Forge was created: "The last stage, called the New Zone project, will consist in the creation of a new game zone."

L'intégration du traducteur DeepL en jeu se fera en 5 étapes :Étape 1 : Test en ALENTOURS (en cours).DeepL est actuellement en test sur le canal ALENTOURS. Il y traduit automatiquement dans la langue de l'interface ce qui est dit sur le canal. Langues supportées : anglais, allemand, espagnol, russe et français.Étape 2 :Travail de développement pour que DeepL gère la traduction entre les canaux du jeu et chat.ryzom.com.Étape 3 : Création de l'interface de configuration et ajout d'options dans la fenêtre de chat. L' interface devrait permettre de :choisir si on accepte d'être traduit (cf.RGPD) ;choisir les canaux à traduire (exemple: ALENTOURS, GUILDE...) ;choisir les langues à traduire ;choisir dans quelle langue on veut que la traduction soit effectuée.Les options dans la fenêtre de chat permettront de :activer/désactiver les traductions (on/off) ;repérer les phrases traduites (couleur différente ?) ;afficher la version originale des phrases traduites ;(sous réserve) voir la traduction d'une phrase affichée initialement dans sa langue d'origine.Étape 4 : Intégration de DeepL sur les canaux dynamiques et le canal région.Cela inclut les canaux univers.Nous en profiterons certainement pour supprimer les canaux univers spécifiques à une langue, qui n'auront plus d'utilité.Étape 5 : Intégration de DeepL sur les canaux de guilde, d'équipe, de ligue et sur les messages privés.À noter que nous pourrons par la suite, si besoin, activer la traduction automatique dans toutes les langues supportées par DeepL (présentement portugais, polonais, néerlandais, italien). Je comprends que, si DeepL fait l'affaire, le besoin de canaux spécifiques à chaque langue disparaisse, mais j'aimerais cependant pouvoir séparer un canal dans ma langue d'origine, pour des objectifs particuliers, sans interdire la traduction des langues employées dans le canal UNIVERS XX.

Pas vraiment, mais il me semble que le besoin existe, en tous cas pour moi, de pouvoir séparer dans son propre canal le langage original.

Pour l'instant, la langue originale du texte et celle de sa traduction sont liées à la langue de l'interface. Mais le joueur utilise une interface et et peut parler dans plusieurs langues. Alors, j'ai remarqué que si la langue utilisée par le joueur est différente de celle de son interface, DeepL traduit d'abord le texte dans la langue de l'interface.
D'après mon expérience sur https://www.deepl.com, en général DeepL détermine tout seul la langue du texte. Ce n'est pas encore le cas lors du test, car pour le moment c'est la langue de l'interface de celui qui écrit qui est prise en compte.
Que pensez-vous (brièvement) de l'intégration de DeepL au jeu ?

Très pratique surtout pour les personnes qui ne parlent pas les autres langues du jeu :-)
Si vous n'utilisez pas l'argot, écrivez des phrases complètes et ne faites pas de faute de frappe... ça peut être utile. Sinon, nous risquons nombre d'incompréhensions. Ainsi, "Rendor" serait traduit en allemand par "revendeur", ou "Ranger" par "garde forestier". Mais ça reste une bonne chose pour la communication, même si imparfait.

Pour mon avis personnel, je trouve que 5 000 jetons de choix est très très cher payé. Les bombes à eau ont eu très bonne presse :)

5 000 jetons paraît beaucoup, mais c'est seulement 70% d'une peluche et rien pour un Zig. Et il est impossible de lancer des bombes à eau sur les Rois :-)
Je veux juste dire un grand merci à l'équipe Ryzom pour l'event d'Août, soirée mémorable avec des joueurs de toute nation et faction sur les rendors :)
Nous revenons aux bases de Ryzom en replaçant l'avancée de l'Histoire au centre du jeu.Ainsi, au lieu d'avoir d'un côté des events, et de l'autre côté des ajouts dev hétéroclites, nous aurons des ajouts gameplay réguliers qui accompagneront de façon logique l'avancée de l'Histoire, au fil des events. Avec, bien sûr, une part au Power to Players, vu que la tournure des événements dépendra en partie de vos actions !Avant de nous lancer dans une Saison qui apportera maintes nouveautés (nous en avons déjà un certain nombre en tête !), nous avons choisi de débuter par une Saison nous permettant d'enfin terminer le contenu gameplay inachevé. Vous en saurez plus... bientôt !
Nous demanderons dans quelque temps aux joueurs de nous aider pour la refonte des batailles d'avant-postes et le rééquilbrage des armes de tir. Mais il nous faut terminer beaucoup d'autres changements et réparations et bien préparer une série d'essais.
J'ai suivi avec attention les discussions sur les forums concernant la nature du roleplay sur Atys. Il y a un aspect qui était présent autrefois et qui a complètement disparu : l'histoire personnelle des personnages dans le jeu. J'espère que cet affichage sera de nouveau pratiquée partout et par tous.
DeepL pourrait y contribuer en facilitant le roleplay entre joueurs de différentes langues.

Ce que je peux dire s'agissant du wiki, c'est que j'ai publié 231 articles sur les plantes d'Atys depuis un mois, à partir d'un document fourni par Namcha. Mais Dorothée, Heernis and Zorroargh travaillent eux aussi d'arrache-pied.
Hum... les wikis sont accessibles depuis portable, mais sans CSS adapté... Pas terrible.

Nous cherchons des testeurs bénévoles (Windows, Linux, Mac). En effet, le manque actuel de testeurs fait que les fonctionnalités et correctifs restent longtemps en test, ce qui retarde leur application. Notamment, nous recherchons des joueurs maîtrisant les batailles d'OP afin de tester l'OP refactoring. Pour plus de renseignements, veuillez contacter Moniq ou Tamarea.
