General changes

Translators workspace has been made a bit more useful again. You can use link to quick reset of your filter options. More details is displayed when browsing a module and preview of each string can be limited to specified number of characters which can help on smaller displays.
Links to tables with Place names / Tribe names / NPC Titles were moved from main menu into sub-menu of Dictionary section. It is faster to use Blablator to find these translations than browse tables.

Blablator

Blablator is dummy brute force translator that try to search translation in all known strings and translate given block of text into target language. While the database of atys words is small, searching and replacing is not too effective and might take some time. Therefore length of text to translate is limited by 70 words.
Blablator has also own record in App Zone so you can install direct link to the translation interface.

Blabla game

This little game is based on translated strings in Dictionary. Origin of these strings is Blablatys database. You guess correct translations for given term between your preferred language and selected Atys language. Please note that database of strings is small and it might not be possible to build set of questions. Dictionary section of Lang App will show you raw numbers.

Role-play options

One of important news is to allow users to enable more role-play options. With use of Blablatys database, users are allowed to select role-play language. This will create another translation layer and your application will be primarily localized into preferred atys language with fallback to your preferred language with fallback to default language (english).
Another option is live conversion of all dates into Atys timeline along with two new Date and time formates by Atys conventions. And when you feel far from Atys, enable use of your national font. There is one specific font for each Atys race. Unfortunately, in-game browser will ignore this setting.

User interface clean-up

Application UI has been cleaned up. Some additional changes were made for better use in UG browser and customization options were separated for each application. One of new key features is support for scaling. While regular browsers have this feature built-in, this option targets on use with in-game browser and allows you to scale application interface between 90% and 200%.

Color management was replaced with database backend as well as operations log has new database backend. Users can browse log history and let new messages to aggregate into one summary to save space on screen. Cache updates were moved into separate thread to improve performance. Changelog and version system has new database backend.

Usage and installation

You can run the application IG using command /appzone 2135 from any chat window or install Lang App from App zone. All suggestions are welcome.

Übersetzungs-App 0.9.1

Instandhaltungs Ausgabe

Diese Version ist hauptsächlich eine Instandhalutungs Ausgabe. Diese profitiert von neu ins System eingebrachte Features, bringt aber auch einige Korrekturen mit sich. Die einzige Neuheit ist ein API um Blablator Uebersetzungen zu benutzen. Allerdings kann jener Uebersetzer weiterhin keiner der Atys Sprachen uebersetzen sodass wir die Hilfe einer erfahrenen Sprachen Experten sehr willkommen heißen würden.

Aenderungen, die alle Applicationen betreffen

Der Cache Update Algorithmus, insbesondere Inventar Cache im Falle von (mehreren) Gildenhallen, kann uU viel Zeit brauchen um ganz fertig zu werden. Obwohl man dennoch weiterhin die Update Intervale eines jeden Speicher Anlage individuell bestimmen kann wie auch die zeit Zwischen automatischen Updates, sind nun alle allgemeine Update Sperrungen Benutzer Einstellungen. Falls irgend eine Update nicht benutzt wird, dennoch bietet das System für jede mögliche Update Kategorie eine manuelle Update an. Dadurch können Updates stets gesperrt blieben, bis dass man selbst bestimmt, dass die eine oder andere Update ausgeführt werde.

Um die Update Prozeß zu beschleunigen durch Reduzierung insgesamt der Anzahl von Database Abfragen währenddessen, verwendet das System nun lokaler temporäre Übersetzungs Speicher des Client. Das System prüft ob ein Charakter ein Profil auf dem Ryzom Armory server verwendet und bietet ggf ein Link dorthin für jeden solchen Homin(a) an. Auch alle Applicationen ausser DeepList bieten solche Benutzer Documentation an.

Die Icons verwendet von den Applicationen ist aktualisiert worden um besser im Einklang mit dem Ryzom Client Theme. Dieser Aenderung entsprechend wurden die License Details im About Section angepasst. Auch wurde das System Font Database ueberarbeitet und die Farbpalette Database unterstützt nun Farben Transperenz.

Verwendung und Installation

Du kannst diese Anwendung IG aufrufen über den Befehl /appzone 2135 von jedem beliebigen Chat-Fenster oder über installiere Übersetzungs-App über die App Zone. Alle Verbesserungsvorschläge sind willkommen.
