In an ideal world, none of this would be necessary.

We don't live in an ideal world, and neither do our toons.

So long as we have miscreants who think that seeing someone from a different faction means that they are exempt from the CoC because RP trumps basic decency, we need things like this.

The one issue I have w/ this is "solo-able" mobs like 210s and 260s. Have had 260s 95% dead solo only to have folks come in and get lock after throwing one shot and one heal. But as was said above, much better than we had before.

As for the ideal world comments , I agree with Gidge ... 1st boss I was involved in after new system we had lat arrivals mix in our pod and absorb bomb heals. In the 2nd, after isolating the boss away from its minions, they repeatedly dragged the minions on us. After the 1st week or so however, have not encountered much of that. While not perfect, it is a much better system.
