Though the event part was practically aborted (or at least considerably shortened) mainly due to the petulant behavior of a group of Fyros patriot "roleplayers", the results achieved anyway should be published as an official announcement to allow those Fyros, desert dwellers, and others to participate if they like.

Shortly: The plans to build a camp near Dyron have been explained by Grand Master Messedos Syragos (event guide), and a NPC (Deuron Eurius) has been placed east of the raw material merchant in Dyron to collect the materials for the camp project, namely (all choice desert q200 min.):

40,000 wood
28,000 fiber
12,000 resin
16,000 bark
[kindly note that the text in the exchange window is confounded between resin (3rd) and bark (4th) while symbols and numbers are correct]

Anybody interested in the Dyron Fyros event should be invited to participate - or the event aborted altogether.

Why the patriot doesn't want to participate ?

Why the patriot doesn't want to participate ?
They disliked the presence of 2 visitors of the event, and defied the explanations of the Academy Master (event guide animated NPC) that the event was public. When they could not force their wishes onto the other participants, they quit in rage. In fact, the empire (sharük) is no anarchistic kindergarten where the subordinates dictate the superiors what to do. Those "patriotes" violated at least 3 of the 4 principles (pillars) of the burning desert and the Fyros people, namely discipline, justice, and honor.

Another problem is that the Dyron part of the Fyros event sequence is mainly directed towards the German subcommunity which traditionally exercised a more cooperative style of roleplay while that of the French subcommunity is more confrontative (which is no critique just a statement). The presence of those two characters would not pose any problem to German roleplayers. By their behavior those "patriots" tried to force their own style upon the Dyron connected roleplayers (beneath spoiling the work of the event team). That is all poor class and style, and, honestly, it pisses me off.

it pisses me off.
Well said, on the English server pre merger idiots like these were just teleported into demons lap kitin nest for the first warning, if the behaviour like this continued they were just universe muted so they couldn't interrupt the event... The mute means they can't chat on any channel ingame ... Not even guild chat.
If unpaid people give up there time to run events for a "role players" who dont appreciate it, then those "role players" shouldn't be allowed to participate - simple universe mute would stop the behaviour.

Stop spreading misinformation : the event concerned (I quote) "Homins concerned: Patriots and Desert inhabitants.", there were two matis (one noble and one vassal) who definitively doesn't fit in here, we asked the EM guide to remove them, he didn't, we asked again (to make sure he understood), he stayed stubborn, so we all moved away to protest this joke.

It's not about "forcing our wishes", nor trying "to force their own style upon the Dyron connected roleplayers" (and, by the way, I haven't seen an German speaking patriot at any event for a long time) ; it's simply trying to enforce the rules the event team dictated in their OWN thread.

It is no misinformation. There is no exclusion of any group of homins, as usually stated in announcements. Moreover, the german version of the announcement states:
Angesprochene Homins: vorwiegend Patrioten und Einwohner der Wüste.
(Concerned: mainly Patriots and Desert inhabitants).

It was clear that the event was directed towards homins of the german subcommunity in Dyron, and the differencies in roleplay styles are well known, the Dyron event addressing a wider part of homins than more confrontational roleplay does. The two homins in question, a neutral Atys citizen and an ambassador are both part of the german subcommunity and legitimately participated as the event guide acknowledged. And game organization wise it is the matter of the event team to define the course of an event and the homins excluded, not of those attending an event.

Roleplay wise, the "Master of Discipline" was an official of a governmental body of the sharük acting on behalf of the celiakos and sharükos Lykos. It was in no way in the authority of simple patriots or akenak to command such an official. Defying his orders was in violation of at least three of the four pillars.

So the conduct of the "patriots" in the event was shameful.

Event announcement with exclusion
Homins concerned: All but the Marauders.
Event announcement without exclusion
Homins concerned: The Nobles, Subjects and Residents of the Kingdom.

How rude you are, I'd say.
Since, though I pay tribute, as you do, to the achievements of the Ryzom Team's volunteers :
• the unexpected is something I value much, regarding roleplay (nor Siela, nor I expected our participation - which was not first of the kind - would raise such a turmoil) ;
• how great may be the hatred Nilstilar wows to Azazor, the player behind the former would resent badly any OOC measure taken against the player behind the latter (RP events must be managed by RP means, IMHO, and the player behind Messedos Syagrus did it well).

That's just a logical fallacy. If you check the last matis meeting post, you'll see
Homins concerned: Matis Nobles and Vassals, Ambassadors and guests for the first part, and then only Nobles and Matis Vassals for the second part.
They specifically precised that ambassador could come because otherwise, when you read "Matis Noble and Vassals", you understand "only matis noble and vassal". If it wasn't "only matis noble and vassal", you would have said "everyone".

Exclusion doesn't have to be explicit to be effective. It's sometime stated because it's easier to say "everyone but marauder" instead of "fyros patriots, zorai initiate, tryker citizen, matis vassal, ranger, kamists, karavaneers, and other neutral that aren't part of a marauder clan".

Concerning german translation, it seems like a rogue german translator, as the "mainly" part isn't present in either french, english or spanish translation. You can check This post to see that it isn't present in all german translations (making me think one of the german translators is taking some freedom with the translation)

Sorry, but I don't see any problem here...
"power to player" = freedom to act, as long as one respects the lore and the rules.
