IDEAS FOR RYZOM

Mojica, please be more kind to other players. Maybe the translation does not come through right, if not, forgive me, but it sounds like you are mad others are saying negative things about your post. I think they are finding humor as well as apathy from them in it because it isn't a really big deal to get a new title, but also, some think it would be a nice thing if you wish to have it, (as well as me).

But please remember, the staff or developers do not really decide if something is added or not to the game at the expense of the players desires. First, they look at the suggestions in this forum and read the response from the other players and if they want it implemented. If it is a great suggestion and everyone gets behind it and supports it, then they seriously study putting it in the game. If it is possible, they add it! But only after positive response from everyone.

So i ask, "Do you want to have it only your way and not care about other players thoughts?" I did not hear negative response from them, perhaps some humor. So lighten up please. I think they support it.

If there is a lot of negative responses on a suggestion, they will not consider it. Sometimes they let the ideas develop and change in this forum until they add it. It might not be the original thought or Idea, but something will happen. So, i like the idea, others have said they like it because it harms nothing, so lets see where it goes.
All we ask now is that others offer suggestions of support :D

I think it''s a good idea to give a title to the older players. It's something that's been successful on other mmos.

They could also send out a mailing to email address and say anyone who has logged on by such and such a time that played during this time period will automatically receive this title. With a cutoff point of either a version of the game or amount of years played. Something along those lines.

A one time mailing. That would encourage returning players and be a thank you to the players who played after the beta stage but were still part of the charter members of the game.

After further thinking, there is no need anymore for me to continue the debate, so i decided to edit this last post, and if somebody felt pissed off by my words, sorry for that. I proposed an idea, nobody want it, that's fine, no problem. After all, it was just an idea not my deepest wish lol. Have fun and stay safe. /wave

Actually the Wiki is technically wrong, Elder of Atys was given to Focus Beta Testers, not everyone that beta tested; which is why the break dance is triggered by /fbt. Whether that's been changed since is another matter.

I seem to notice a pattern here. Grave of the Fireflies always seem to attack any ideas in force that aren't kami or from their guild.

Personally I don't see why having every member of one guild giving their opinion ought to sway everyone's opinion about what new idea should be implemented.

I really find this Elder of Atys attitude a little distasteful. Why should everyone in the game have to bow down to some focus beta tester's opinion twelve years after the fact?

Thats a silly statement. If you read up you can see that I liked the Idea. And what guild am I from?

Well not giving a new title should really please the two focus beta testers left in the game.

Maybe they can enjoy playing all by themselves and break dancing together.

Sure wouldn't want to do anything to keep the other 23 players that are left in the game.
