Don't know what you guys did, but I still cannot log on. I clicked your link and it seems to unzip a file, but then it says "Ryzom is damaged and cannot be opened, you should move it to the trash." So, What the heck should I do?
I'm using OSX 10.11.6 and my comp. is from Oct. 2008. I am trying to use latest Ryzom, but is my gear to old?

Hello Naema,
with the archive, you have to do a right click on the app and click show package contents, you have to do do the same on the real ryzom app in your applications folder, after you have to replace the new files in the correct sub folders. After your ryzom app in the applications folder is patched, you can start and normally you have a new patch and after it's ok. for me it 's good on mac os 10.11.4. not too old i'm 10.7.5 and all works
If you only click on link with "open command": don't do it, use download.
Fist dowloand (1,5 G), second unzip (>6G) then move to Application.
Launch and wait 200Mo of patch

PS : i saw Reyfia post. I do something much more simple I move old Ryzom to trash and replace by the one in archive (unzip first). You loose keys and macro but... simplier

Naema I'm on a 2008 mac too (El Capitan) so its not your hardware. I have had no problems but that will be because i'm still on Ryzom 2.1.0. I may be overcautious but I try not to run Beta versions of anything.

(client.log) to kervala@ryzom.com to resolve the error as fast as possible

Ok, I finally got it to work, this is what i did:
I remembered that i had a similar problem before and I had to allow 'Non-known developers' to download software onto my computer, rather than from the Apple store, otherwise things crashed out. So i had to go to my system preferences and security>General>Allow download anyways. Then from there, i was able to right click on the Ryzom app after it extracted, and go to 'Show package contents>MacOs>Ryzomconfiguration, then not sure what i did, but i configured a few things the way i like. clicked Ok, iirc.
anyways, it asked me at the end if I wanted to launch Ryzom and I said yes, then it patched, then it worked :D

(I tried earlier to click Ryzomclientpatcher, but that didn't seem to do anything for me, not sure what it did to tell the truth)

Sorry for not responding earlier. I did'nt use the patch for macOS lower than Sierra. I upgraded my El Capitan to Sierra and my Ryzom client is now working fine. Thanks everyone.

this problem is not solved. I have to go through the same 'configuration' app every time just to log on because it has a 'Launch' button. It is the only way I can log onto the game.
Before i had a simple icon I put on my Doc to click and log on, What happened? This is so frustrating.

Are you sure your Ryzom shortcut is pointing to the right client ?

You shouldn't have to allow "Non-known developers" because we have a "Apple developer account" and binaries are signed.

Please what happens when double-clicking on "Ryzom" icon ? If nothing happens, please could you send me your client.log file to kervala@ryzom.com ?

And Ryzom beta clients are still in beta test, if you want to use a "stable" client, you have the choice to use the one from AppStore or Steam :)

ok, I will try it. I didn't know I could download lastest client from the app store, i was downloading from the client page. I will let you know how things turn out...

Ok, so after downloading ryzom_client_static_full_osx_3.0.0.7521.7z a little Ryzom.app comes up. When i double click on it, i get a message: "Ryzom.app" is damaged and can't be opened. You should move it to the Trash. Then it gives me the option to cancel, or Move to Trash. :(

I can however, right click on it, go to 'Show Package contents,' then under the folder 'Contents,' I can go to folder 'MacOS,' click on 'RyzomConfiguration,' then launch it from that app at the bottom from the tab, But...Only if I go to my system preferences and Click on security>General>Open anyways

(I am not sure how to find the Client.log file to send you)

What program do you use to open the 7z? i experienced the same error using The Unarchiver to decompress it
