I have just read this thread, unfortunately.

I *think* that Ryzom is open source. If that is untrue, then stop reading.

However, if Ryzom is open source, Ryzom is practially begging people to modify their config files. And if some people have done that to their config files, then they are worthy of break dancing, they have EARNED the ability of break dancing because they have modified their config files.

You can't "complete" the mainland. If one thinks one has seen or done everything there, one is kidding oneself. But be prepared to "get out what you put in," because the mainland does not coddle or hold hands.

Remickla (atys)

Other games - they give you a cookie whether you succeed or not, in fact you don't even have to participate. Ryzom takes your cookie, eats it in front of you, and slaps you 2 or 3 times for bringing a cookie in the first place.

The Art of the Elders of Atys is the break dance, that's it's proper name. If I run the emote with you as the target it will say "Neela shows Nehrie the Art of the Elders of Atys".

What a wonderful gracious thing that would be if the Elders sat together in a little circle and said, "Hey let's share this with the others!"

But I see the real thing you would be losing....

At this point I don't want the break dance anymore. You have spoiled it Neela. It wouldn't be any fun.

Well I wouldn't mind breakdancing but I think that might be a little too fanatic about it for me. I hope the Elders all stay in game! Anyway, they will never have something you have Nehrie - that coveted Silan yubo point! Trust me, some of them do care. Maybe one of them will trade you for it. ;)

Once again I have to close a thread because it descends into mud slinging. Please post replies that adds something to the discussion and are not purely posted to be rude and provoke. Also please refrain from rising to the bait and respond in "kind", which invariably ends up with a closed thread and one more topic lost to a lack of observing the forum rules.
