Bunny Tools 3.10 has been released

Since it's inception some 10-12 years ago, the Craft Ranges Tool has been among the most popular.  It first came into existence as a crude Spread Sheet based tool based upon formulae published in Patch Notes and supplemented by user testings.  These where updated over time based upon subsequent patch notes and / or changes that were posted in forums or picked up by various individuals.

Around 2010 - 2011 it was distributed when requested as an XLS file.  Around 2015 - 2016, a JPG image was placed on the forums and, if interested, the links can be seen above in Post # 24.  At that time the formulae were checked against the in game code base and fined tuned accordingly.  Rounding errors are usually within +/- 1.

As of today (2018-02-03), thanks to a generous gift of time to do the WebIG programming, a "Crafting Ranges Module" has been added to Bunny Tools. The Spreadsheet version has also been updated and will be available shortly.  This is set up with a sheet fo all of the in Game variable, so that if thise variables chnage, making that adjustment will automatically update the tables.  If you wish a copy of the SS file for your usage, please send FF an IG mail with an appropriate out-of-game e-mail address.  This is being updated over the next few weeks but current state will be in the next post.

To access the module Open BT and select "Crafting Ranges" from the masthead on the left hand side.

1. The first drop down provides access to the individual craft class categories.

2. For the second, type in the craft level (10 - 250)

3. If you have completed the Fyros Story 2 Durability Rite, check the box for the Durability Bonus.

4. If you are using a Rubbarn Tool and want to see what results the Rubbarn Boost will provide, check the box for the Rubbarn Boost.

5. Select the Grade of the Craft whether Basic, Medium or High Quality from the Drop Down.  For some reason, this makes no difference for Ranged Crafting.

6. If you would like to see the possible craft range results with 0 % to 100 % Pre-Craft, check the Min. / Max. Box.

7. Hit the CALCULATE Button and type in the Pre-Craft % for each Charcteristic in the next window.

1.  The top number in each row is the result you will get with the associated pre-Craft % at left.  So for "Damage" on a 2H Axe, you are looking at 729 with rubbarn boost.

2.  Uncheck the "Rubbarn Boost" box and you see that the range w/o Rubbarn is 331 - 662.

3.  Note that these numbers do not include any modfiers such as Hit Rate, Increase Damage, etc.

4. If ya don't wanna see the range of possible results, just what that Pre-Craft % will deliver for your craft, you can unchek the Min. / Max. box for a cleaner screen.  Because of the way the game rounds or sometimes drops decimals. not all results are exact.

5. Note that for daggers, the max possible result for speed is 66 hpm and this is what will show in the craft windows. There is however an "unseen cap" of 60 hpm so for damage purposes, the actual max speed in game = 60 hpm.

Anticipate working with Arcueid to get these results imported into Kipee Craft.

Spreadsheet Versions of Above:

Armor and Shields:

2H Melee Weapons / 1H Melee Weapons

2H Ranged Weapons / 1H Ranged Weapons

Magic Amplifiers:

Jewels:

The way these work is the blue text is editable.  Put in the Craft Level and the quality bonus appropriate for BQ, MQ. HQ.  pick either 1.0 or 1.2 appropriate as to whether using rubbarn tool and put 0 instead of 20 if you haven't done the durability rite.  Then just put in the pecraft % and ya numbers will auto generate

Righ now working on some of the rounding errors, trying to figure whether to round, round up or trancate.  Will advise as soon as completed.

Hello!

#37 Multilingual

Hello Freddy,
You are rare in Atys nowaday, I hope it is not because of bad RL problems, and hope you can come back more or less soon.

There is a small issue in mats (melee) calculator. It is probably because ballistic mystic differs from what I see in game:
in 2H melee weapons:
Axe is 5- 4-4-4 instead of 5-5-5-5
Pike is 6-6-5 instead of 7-7-6
Mace is 4-4-9 (5-4-4-4) instead of 5-5-10 (5-5-5-5-5) and
Sword is 5-4-4-4 instead of 5-5-5-5

I didn't check all other items yet, but I will tell you as soon as possible if I see other misfits.

gratefully and friendly yours

Dorothee

Resources you list are for generic melee weapon plans. basic/med/high quality plans are listed correctly as far as I know.

Hello!

That FF dude is no good, ya just can not depend upon him for anything ! I been on about a 6 month vacation from game ... was eating up too much of my time and too many game related responsibilities were was eating up most of my available play time.

Feeling a bit refreshed and should start popping in .. be back more often as soon as GoT finishes up. When I do get in, I'll have to take a look at OP and generic crafts .... It will give me something to do while I remember how to play the game. Usually it takes me two weeks of just staring at the screen before I remember how to dig ... the rest comes back after a few weeks.

PS... Thanks Karu for keeping an eye on the thread.

What's up sweetcakes ?

Missed you and 2 other people ... and yes, whenever anyone asks, I'm gonna say that they are one of the two

#42 [en]

BTW, had one message asking about completing the exe mats mapping in Prime Roots ... IIRC there's 47 mats with 16 season weather combos so 752 test points ... the status when I too vacation away from games was....

00.00% Amber
34.38% Seed
48.44% Fiber
5.00% Bark
41.25% Sap
14.06% Resin
43.75% Oil
45.00% Shell
13.75% Wood
13.75% Wood Node

So if anyone wants to join in to help collect the data, send me IG mail and I will send the spreadsheet to you.

New Bunny Tool Module:  "Vendor Inventory"

Basically, what the tool does is tell you Item No., Item Description and Quality Level, Location of vendors upon which it is stored, how long it has been there and Listed Price.   The tool is intended to allow folks to keep an eye on the items being stored on vendors and, more importantly, to retrieve them before the expire and disappear ... and saving them the TP trips to go and look in all 4 regions.

When you open the App Module you will be asked to supply your C06 API Key "Items on Sale".  You can do this by hitting the "Ryzom API " icon on your App Bar" ... (icon looks like a PC Screen and KB).   Hit "Add New Key" button, chek C06, set expiration date (or never) and a name that you will recognize such as "BT Vendor Inventory (C06)".  Click "Add" and  return to the main page.  Copy the API Key and paste it into the App Window and ya good.  Most find it easier to do this thru the web site.

INTERFACE

API Key -  Lists the 1st five characters of the API Key usd to collect the data.  The "will be updated in" part shows the time left between refreshing the data (telling app to to download latest item list) and when it will show in the window.

Character XML Age - This is the last time that the Game API updated.  If this time is longer than 8 minutes, then the data will be reprsentative of what it was that long ago.  In this case, you will want to do a refresh by hitting "Refresh" by scrolling down to the bottom of the window.

Clear API - Clears the API key in which case your data will not be accessible.  You can replace or make new one to restore access.

Item # - Self Explanatory.

Icon - Again, self explanatory, lists itemdescrition, quantity and quality level.

Item - Full Description if Item including Grade (Baic - Supreme)

Continent - Region that you can retrrive stored items from vendors

Listing Age - This lists how long the material has been on vendors .... when it reaches ~ 168 hours, it disapears.  So when Listing Age breaks 100 hours, you should "start making plans" for what you plan to do regarding those items.

Price - The unit prece per item in the stack.

Now the obvious question on everyone's mind is: "Why not just list time left ? ... it's simple math ... 168 - that Listing Age".  Problem is the math gets borked when the server reboots in which case the timer stops.   When it comes back up, strange things happen with the math, so Listing Age was used as it proved to be more accurate, more often.

Refresh - A Refresh should be done after logging in, or after any items are sold or retrieved ... can take up to 5 minutes.

EDIT:  The app seems to be auto refreshing at this point

Remember ... as above, if the Game API is down, (was down about 70 hours after last patch) the data will not be updated ... this is typical I expect of any app that relies on API data.   If Character XML Age is > 8 minutes and refresh doesn't bring it below that, then anything changed up to that long ago will not be represented in the data set.

Enjoy ....
