Their return and eventual establishment has been announced already during and short after the second great swarming. Trytonist NPC appeared during assemblies for some time, then everything subsided.

? There hasn't been a single trytonist NPC played after the second great swarming, all of the apparitions were players character.

Btw. there was nobody caring much for the marauders before Gaueko joined in, as far as I see. Event guides may come, leave, maybe return. Right now, ET has a lot to do, to my impression (I don't pretend to have insider knowledge, and do not have), and a small crew. Still, Trytonists are announced as a playable faction coming, and as long as this project is not officially dumped, there is a point to discuss it. And while Bina seems not overly interested in Trytonists' development, I would be curious whether Sorum, Sharleen and others are thinking likewise.

Hm Elyssa appeared during the meeting in Almati. I would call her an NPC or ET animated character, not a player character in a strict sense.

Meant after the exodus, sorry (speaking before the exodus didn't made much sense since it was 3 differents server - for example there wasn't any mention of an "Elyssa" on Aniro)

Interesting. Naturally, I was not present at the meeting in Almati on Aniro (or were there none?). In case it took place, wasn't there a representative of the guild of Elias, announcing that hominity could be evacuated to the sanctuary in the ancient lands?

It was Nicho, the leader (well, the official one, the real leader is/was Kegan) of the guild of Elias who was present, but he didn't spoke much if i recall correctly

I am extremely interested in the trytonists RP and find Virg's views line up quite a lot with theirs (from what I can glean). However.. you raise many points which I see as contradictory here but I suppose the biggest issue is:

If the implementation won't have a big impact on the game- then what is the point of making new teleports, a city, defining RP etc etc?

Surely that much work should seek to have an impact on the game?

I think Ryzom has bitten off more than it can chew already- needs to deal with its current mouthful and then perhaps it would be good to look at trytonists.

So for a Trytonist they would probably need some events to discover more evidence of their truths before they come out of hiding.

fracturing the player base for the existing factions seem far fetched and unjustified given our low numbers, at best it would mean that some players will be more open about being trytonists and that's it, since trytonism isnt exactly easy to follow since the official lore is sketchy about it. Furthermore in terms of lore from the old ryzom user guide to the megacorp satellite falling down, passing through the first and second swarms trytonism has the same place as kami or karavan.

Now on terms of being realistic to our game reality, i wouldnt ask for tps or the "organization" status, but i would ask for recognition as a part of the lore of ryzom which is being played, and all that trtonists would require is a) special events and b) secrecy being lifted
