We're looking for translators / proofreaders to English (3 FR => EN), to German (2), to Spanish (2), to Russian (2) and to French (2).If you're interested, send a mail to: volunteer@ryzom.com mentionning you're applying for the Translation Team.

2 Proof-reading of ingame interface
We are looking in emergency for helpers (at least two, better three) to check the russian interface text! The only current one is unavailable for the moment so we have nobody for the russian proof-reading.
If you are interested, please, send a mail to Tamarea (tamarea@ryzom.com) or to Gaueko (gaueko@ryzom.com).

3 Help needed for Steam translations and fixing
Another emergency: volunteers to help translating and fixing the interface in the other languages, various texts, guides, etc to be done before Ryzom's arrival on Steam.

Siela: Just wanted to say that we are progressing good on the translation of the user manual, but more help is always appreciated, as well as more propositions for guides (links to already written ones are nice too). If you want to help with the user manual translation, the french translation is done here: https://khaganat.net/pad/p/ryzom_user_manual_fr.
Zatalyz: About this link on khaganat.net, the website will be on maintenance these wednesday and thursday. So no work can be done on the pad these days. By precaution, do NOT connect the pad during these two days.

2 Steam
Gaueko: Message for Steam testers: Please test as much as you can, specially the ingame text, reporting the problems to us. (tamarea@ryzom.com or gaueko@ryzom.com) It could be of great help.
Osquallo: I don't know for steam but it look like the next non steam client have more full caps texte than some time ago, like univers region equipe in the chat button, and opacity oiption.
Gaueko: Can you send me a mail with examples or screens please? I will share with Translators as soon as posible.
Osquallo: I will think of it yes.

- Les traducteurs ont aussi été très sollicités pendant ces trois jours pour traduire des annonces et réponses en urgence, en plus de leur long travail de correction de l'intégralité du texte en jeu. Un grand merci à eux également !
- Deux candidatures reçues cette semaine !
S'il y a d'autres candidats pour rejoindre l'équipe de traduction, soyez certains qu'ils seront accueillis à bras ouverts ! Nous n'avons toujours pas de traducteur vers le russe et nous manquons de traducteurs vers l'espagnol et l'allemand.

Q : pas de contraintes pour la jouabilite du perso?
R : Pour être traducteur ? Non, aucun vu que les traductions se font hors jeu. Excepté dans les cas d'urgence, les traducteurs disposent en général de plusieurs jours pour traduire et corriger un texte. Et en étant plusieurs à gérer la même langue, cela permet de faire des rotations.
Les traductions sont principalement des traductions d'annonces officielles et du nouveau contenu en jeu créé via Ark. Il y a aussi des traductions de chroniques et de discours de personnages d'event.
Et quand on dit "équipe de traduction", on devrait dire "équipe de traduction et de correction". Car qui dit traduction, dit aussi correction.

URGENT: Following Gaueko's leaving, we have no more active native translator for the Spanish translation (and to help us fixing the Spanish interface and the texts for the rites and missions).
