- Since I get this asked alot tought i'll put down an guide about it here. -

Preview of a macro using chat tokens that says player name race and different thing depending on male and female:

How this specific macro works:

/$t.gs(cheer/love/crude)$ $t.gs(yells at the strong/gives the beautifull/is gonna kill)$ $t.race/the weak$ $t$ $t.gs(: yow mate gimme a high five/: 3 kisses on the cheek/that smells really badly)$

Now the full explination of what i'm doing here:

1. /$t.gs(cheer/love/crude)$
> $t.gs(male/female/mob) >  this says the text based on the gender of your target
> here i have a '/' before the command so it does an emote without text based on the gender

2. $t.gs(yells at the strong/gives the beautifull/is gonna kill)$
> same as above but instead of executing an macro it says the text based on the gender of your targer

3. $t.race/the weak$
> if it's a player character you have targeted then this command says the race

> if it's an mob then it will say 'the weak'
4. $t$
> this command just says the name of your targer
5. $t.gs(: yow mate gimme a high five/: 3 kisses on the cheek/that smells really badly)$

> this is just like 1 & 2 but you will notice there is a ':' before each command this way it changes the color in the macro to yellow

Some more examples but with less eplination:

1. This macro will make that you autofollow your target and give him notice about it

2. This macro is less nested but uses a whole lot of tokens like title, race, name, person who target looks at and so on

/heroic is looking at an $t.race$ $t.title$ $t.gs(his/her/its)$ name is $t$ and $t.gs(he/she/it)$ is in $t.guild/nothing$, and $t$ is looking at $tt/nothing$.

- This is a copy from ryzom's old patch notes where all tokens (more then I use) are quite decently explained. -

link to old patch notes: http://forums.ryzom.com/showthread.php?t=35113

----------------------------------------------------------------- --

Variable tokens

Avaliable tokens:

  • $me$:You.
  • $t$: Your target.
  • $tt$: The target of your target.
  • $tm1$ to $tm8$: Your teammate (from 1 to 8).
Example: Hi! I am $me$, he is $t$ and he keeps looking at you, $tt$...
Hi! I'm Yumeroh, he is Ulukyn and he keeps looking at you, Jena...

A token without a parameter substitutes the name of the subject. You can also use parameters to show title, race, guild name or name of the subject. The "<subject>" below can be one of those above (i.e. me, t, tt, or tm1 to tm8):

  • $<subject>.name$
    Example: $me.name$ | I am $me.name$ = I am Yumeroh
  • $<subject>.title$
Example: $t.title$ | Hey, you, over there, the $t.title$! = Hey, you, over there, the Refugee!
  • $<subject>.race$
Example : $tt.race$ | $t$, stop staring at that $tt.race$ ! = Mokoi, stop staring at that Fyros!
  • $<subject>.guild$
Example : $tm3.guild$ | My partner is a guild member of $tm3.guild$ = My partner is a guild member of Atrium Keepers
It is possible to specify a default for the above parameters should the value be empty using a "/" after the parameter and then the default value:

  • $<subject>.guild/no guild$
    Example: /em sees $t$ of $t.guild/no guild$
=> Yumeroh sees Sywindt of Atrium Keepers
=> Yumeroh sees Sprightly Yubo of no guild
Furthermore, there is the gender-specific parameter:

  • $<subject>.gs(m/f/n)$: the first part is for a male subject, second for female and the third for neutral. The neutral part is optional.
    Example: /em says that $t$ is $t.gs(not his type/beautiful/ugly)$
Target is male => Yumeroh says that Jaliun is not his type.
Target is female => Yumeroh says that Sengosha is beautiful.
Target is neuter (mob) => Yumeroh says that Sprightly Yubo is ugly.
All these tokens work whether in an emote, in guild, shout, emote or around chat, and anywhere else. Let's make some macros!

----------------------------------------------------------------- --

ps. If you have questions about this feel free to contact me ingame or send me an izam

- Guide on guild motd colors & craft messages -

This one is easy and GL/HO and O's can do it:

Example:

/guildmotd @{F33F}Red @{3F3F}Green @{33FF}Blue @{333F}Black @{FFFF}White @{FF3F}Yellow @{F3FF}Pink @{3FFF}Cyan (in my language appelblauwzeegroen > appleblueseagreen > much nicer)

=> last "F" each time is transparancy > F = not transparant // 0 = Transparant
=> the numers go from 0-9 & A - F
=> I use 3 since I find the colors to heavy each time I use 0 but you can mix it up as much as you want

These colors also work in craft messages

ps. Also works used on megacorp but annoying (and probably illegal):

- Mini alt-symbols guide (best read out of game) -

to get a symbol in chat like '♥' this you need to use alt codes:

> to get this on a windows pc with numpad you have to: hold 'alt-key' and press 'numpad-3-key'
> to get info for computers without numpad or mac have a look here: http://fsymbols.com/keyboard/windows/alt-codes/list/

some codes:

☺  ☻  ♥  ♦  ♣  ♠  •  ◘  ○  ◙  ♂  ♀  ♪  ♫  ☼  ►  ◄  ↕  ‼  ¶  §  ▬  ↨  ↓  →  ←  ∟  ↔  ▲  ▼

some special symbols you can copy paste in chat and macro's or with codes wich I don't know since i never use em:

❤  ❥  웃  유  ♋  ☮  ✌  ☏  ☢  ☠  ✔  ☑  ♚  ▲  ♪  ✈  ⌚  ¿  ♥  ❣  ♂  ♀  ☿  Ⓐ  ✍  ✉  ☣  ☤  ✘  ☒  ♛  ▼  ♫  ⌘  ⌛  ¡  ♡  ღ  ツ  ☼  ☁  ❅  ♒  ✎  ©  ®  ™  Σ  ✪  ✯  ☭  ➳  ✞  ℃  ℉  °  ✿  ϟ  ☃  ☂  ✄  ¢  €  £  ∞  ✫  ★  ½  ☯  ✡  ☪

more codes and info can be found on the internet I never use alt codes so I'm not an expert in it

intresting websites with easy testing and copy pasting:

I know there was atleast on extra token made and Sywindt asked me to test it.
Back then but I didn't really understand it or didn't see an use for it.
I totally forgot what it did or what it was so if somebody still knows more tokens feel free to post them.

It's probably $tt$, works like $t$ but with target of your target ; if you have a command with a $tt$ inside and your target doesn't have a target, there won't be any message though (kinda like how $t$ doesn't work if you have no target)

#6 Report | Quote[en]

actually $tt/nothing$ works perfect like i use it at the end of this macro:
/heroic is looking at an $t.race$ $t.title$ $t.gs(his/her/its)$ name is $t$ and $t.gs(he/she/it)$ is in $t.guild/nothing$, and $t$ is looking at $tt/nothing$

the one sywindt sowed had nothing to do with target i think i might try and look in my massive chatlog one day

(this post was higher but i moved some stuff around)

update:
checked my chatlog seems I don't have one from when they where introduced at 12/10/2010 I got an gap and mine starts again at 31/10/2010
Maybe if i ever see him ingame i'll ask him what it was but think he found it useless and the ppl he asked to test aswell so thats why it was not added

It looks interesting, i wish I could understand it, I only know about the colored text part, the rest I will have to read it every day for 6 months to understand it. My head is spinning, How in the world did you learn all this Sub? O_o

Warning: All seven characters of "@{F33F}" count against the character limit for the MotD.
