Questions about the Water Carrier occupation... - Web Apps

I am a little concerned about what I am supposed to do as a water carrier? It would be very handy if the NPC had a basic explanation of the occupation, and why it is important. I have tried to tell people about the occupation, and even asked in UNI chat and the most I can describe it as is "confusing."

I am sure there are plans to add more, but for now is it safe to assume that I am a sort of public works worker, taking samples of the water to makesure that they are clean?

Any ideas when more explanation might be released? Also, there are spelling eras, so I need to collect them together. Anyway, any ideas or information about what the heck I am doing would be much appreciated!

yes. Your job is to take samples of water from various sources and have those analysed.
Then you carry the reports of that analysis back to the master.

It is pretty simple Beau...

First you gather water samples from various sources and then take those samples for analysis. You then take your components back to the workbench and you choose to improve your components (or not) to then to make choices to obtain water that can be used to increase HP and Sap.

Well, Ini, it's not really that simple until you know the details. Point being that the in-game (and even the info on here) doesn't give you any information. Granted, I am not asking for spoilers or something, especially from the get-go. I am talking about walking up to the guy and getting a mission that repeats itself (which can be very confusing to new players) and that never takes a second to say "By the way, HERE'S why you are doing what you do.."

As I always say, hiding information from your players is not a learning curve, it's just a mistake. hehe

Well, the second repeating mission does explicitly state "When you have obtained at least 4 components, you can [do stuff with em]" and "This mission is never finished", and when you get 5 components you even get a little pop-up saying now you can craft with em! I don't know what more explanation you could want.

But for some reason the first repeating mission - the one players are likely to take first - does not... :/
