Unfortunately, at the recent Assembly of the Nobles in Yrkanis, no Ambassador of New Trykoth was present; therefore it fell on me to write to you in a most urgent matter.

From our own observations, and from the reconnaissances of the Karavan we are pretty sure that soon the vile creatures from the Kitin nest in the Tunnel of Woe, which recently have attacked the capital of the Kingdom of New Matia twice, will swarm again and cover the beauty of the Verdant Heights with their ugly death-spawn.

I don't have to tell you all what will happen if the Kitins overcome our green and pleasant country. Soon they'll be at the doors of the other nations as well, rid of one enemy and therefore strengthened to spread their evil all over Atys. We call on the help of our friends and neighbours in the Lakelands to stand at our side when we face our mutual enemy in due time.

At the moment, Filirae Zendae, Royal Mistress of Arms, prepares a strategy to oppose the Kitins, while the Karavan already has Kitin detectors on the borders to the Knoll of Dissent which will alarm us when the Kitins are coming. And they will come soon. Our home - all our homes, yours as well - would be safer if we would know you, and your peoples, at our side.
