I have been hanging out in the Matsian Border Guards camp for at least a month or two, in real time, and in that period, while there were Kinchers near by, recently, in the past week, the Kinchers and Kirostas have been very close.

My question is: What's up with that?

Although I am of level 105 in fight, these things can still severely kick my ass. So, when will these things be further away?

It may very well be the recent activity with the Expedition, but also, mobs do migrate from seaon to season. Sometimes is just a few meters sometimes more.. this could also be what you are experiencing. :)

Well, I don't know it was a seasonal shift, as I hhave been throught three winters in Matis-land, and I have made some initial trips to the Knoll of Dissent over those three winter seasons.

My last trip before things got hairy with the Kinchers/Kirostas I tried to go to "The Hidden Source" but the tunnel there was f***ing full of Kinchers, so I will go back when I get to Fight 150, or beyond...
