IDEAS FOR RYZOM

Currently, the team tab dissapears whenever you leave your team or the team disbands. Often, you miss a number of lines that were typed just prior to the tab dissapearing. I suggest that in such scenarios, the window should simply become grayed out and say something to the effect of "Not currently in a team".

The function to reload chat contents is usual in many actual chat clients. Simply reloading the last 20-30 lines from the chat log would be very nice to help remember the context of the conversation. Given how often people tend to crash in Ryzom, this would (could) be helpful.

Both suggestions in the same topic because I feel they are pretty related.

For the first suggestion:
I don't really think that's necessary (you can view it in user tab even if the window is closed IF you have team active in user tab)

But I support the second one: loading of last few chat lines after crash or disconnect would be nice.
