As said in the title, when i try to change my title using the special title, i only get one Event folder, which is empty. So i'm basically stuck with my current title (which is a current ARCC one, i wonder what it would do if i log off / log on)

I had a fame based title, and when i switchted to a guild related title, after every relog, the guild based was gone, and the fame based title was shown again. -.-

Now I setup a level based title, and this one stays active after relog.

I agree that the titles are severely broken. Not only event titles are gone, but all WebIG related titles, skill titles as well as diplomatic titles, guild titles, and fame based titles.

I consider it sad when event titles (other than the story teller, which was always limited to half a year or a year) are allowed to expire. They should remain as a lasting reminiscence to nice events we had together, something to tell to newcomers, no less than Elder of Atys or similar.

Icus, i have the same issue. Also, I've already filed two tickets about this. The answer to the first was, that they were working on it-this was about three weeks our so ago. the answer to the second came in yesterday explaining that all my event titles had expired. Which is strange, because then they all suddenly expired on the same day. Or they expired but due to the bugs the system did not notice until now.

I thought i earned the Atysmas tree decorator last Christmas. Then that title should be available until December at least. But maybe it was already two years ago?

I do not want to test fame and regular titles because i worked hard for my far traveller event title. And once deselected i won't be able to display that one again.

I also had Atysmas Tree Designer won last year- it disappeared along with all Fame/Guild/Event titles today. I didn't know that Far Traveler expired? I had it until very recently and despite mailing the event team twice to enquire about it, I haven't had a reply as yet :(

As a matter of fact, all titles given over WebIG are broken. There are no guild titles anymore, no skill titles, no diplomatic titles. The whole "Special Titles" directory structure is gone, except the empty one of event titles. Even the newly issued titles "Killer of the Evil Axe" and "Exorcist of Anlor Winn" could be taken once, then vanished. Everybody is stuck to the last title taken, which seems to last when switching to brick title and back.

There have always been some issues with the WebIG titles, and I suspect that multilinguality had some influence on making them fault, as there have alway been issues and strangehoods with. Webig titles were sometimes available in only one language (usually English), sometimes in three languages (I am not aware of Spanish or Russian titles), and were displayed in the language chosen in the client's settings, but stuck that way when changing the language preferences. This has changed recently, sadly, as I liked to switch from e.g. "Spirit of Atys" to "Esprit d'Atys" etc. without changing the client defaults determined by my set of macros.

I'm sorry for the problems with the special titles. We are aware of the problem and are working on it. Also be aware of that some titles have an expiry date. They are typically valid for 6 months to 1 year from the time they are awarded. Last years Anlor Winn titles might not be available to equip any longer. The same goes for many other titles won in events. I wish you luck earning new event titles and again I apologize for the current problems with the titles.

title's i'm missing:

anlor winn storyteller (did a nice story here on the rp forums for this)
expert yubo herder (part of the the reward and renound for making it to the yubo ball tournament)
ghost buster (hunted homins that had been killed)
evil spell hunter (i was a bounty hunter seeking an evil spirit that had an evil magic)
ghost (i had been killed)
anlor winn yubo ball tournament Champion (naked cookies, team captian)
killer of anlor winn king (all involved should have gotten and been able to keep)

as well as the 3 for this year, several of the titles i won last year could be tied to my toon's rp history. (i guess i could find a way to use each of them for my toon's RP history, lolx, anyway there's at least 3 or 4 of them that i can really account to RP.

First, I want to thank for the repair of the titles, good work. Yet, I would ask to reconsider the axing of practically all old event titles. If there are serious technical obstacles to restore them, it would be sad, but would have to be accepted.

Yet, from the point of view of roleplay, coherence, and long term motivation, removal of historical event titles is a loss and damaging. Not few players loved their titles, demonstrated by frequently wearing them. They invited communication, with newcomers as well as with returnees, about the meaning, and revived pleasant memories. Not few players will feel sad by losing those titles.

I do not speak about recurrent ones, such as story teller. It was always the case that this title lasted for 6 months or so. Only, in the past we normally had at least 3 story telling events per year, one at Atysmas, one at Refugee Day (Easter), and one around Anlor Winn events. So, for creative contributors, this title could be sustained as well.

So, I would plead for reconsidering the deletion of the historically won event titles, at least those since the merge.
