Ryzom Forge is working on a Mac FAQ and on Mac tutorials, in link with Ryzom Core.

Le nouveau client Ryzom est accessible là : http://kervala.net/download/ryzom_2.1.0.zip

Installation :

1. Lancer ryzom_update (inclus dans le fichier .zip)
2. Lancer Ryzom, ça devrait marcher
3. Si vous voulez copier vos paramètre sur le nouveau client, allez dans /User/user_name/Library/Containers/com.winchgate.Ryzom/Data/Libra ry/Application Support/Ryzom, sélectionnez tout le contenu et copiez le
4. Avant de passer à l'étape suivante, assurez vous que Ryzom est fermé
5. Allez sur /User/user_name/Library/Application Support/Ryzom et collez tout dedans
6. Lancez le nouveau Ryzom et tous vos paramètres devraient être là

Le répertoire Library peut être caché. Regardes CE tutorial pour savoir comment montrer les répertoires cachés :

Extended installation procedure provided by Rubiksmomo:

Installing Steps:
1. Download Ryzom Mac client v2.1.0 from: 
http://kervala.net/download/ryzom_2.1.0.zip 
2. Go to downloads 
3. Open the zip folder you just downloaded 
4. Hold down control while clicking "ryzom_update". 
5. In the file menu click open. 
6. If you get a message about "unidentified developer", just click "open". 
7. When the console says it's done, close the window. 
8. "Drag and drop" "ryzom" file into "Applications". If prompted, choose 
"replace". 
9. If you want to copy your settings to the new client: 
9.1. Go 
to //User/user_name/Library/Containers/com.winchgate.Ryzom/Data/Libr ary/Application Support/Ryzom/  (NB! please delete the extra space in the word Library when copying the path, it is showing up in the post due to the length of the path string)
9.2. In this folder select all files and copy them 
9.2. Quit Ryzom if it's running 
9.3. Go to //User/user_name/Library/Application Support/Ryzom/ and 
paste the files there 
10. Open "Launchpad" 
11. Click Ryzom 
12. It should now say "v2.1.0" in the top right corner of the splash screen.

Good Day All,

I have some comments that might be helpful with regards to mac but I have a question first:

Is the data here:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/ryzom/files/ryzom_client.7z

more up to date than the data here:

www.ryzom.com::ryzom/data/
www.ryzom.com::ryzom/client_default.cfg

or does the ryzom/data always contain the latest / greatest updates?

sourceforge is terribly outdated, you need to use ryzom_update.sh to get the good data from the rsync
