If you are a guild leader or high officier, you can see an 'edit' button here. You just have to click on it and to tick the 'allow multilingual tags' checkbox to activate multilanguage in your guild forum.

Y'a des post où le bouton traduire n'existe pas. Je suis pas sure à 100% mais je me demande si ce n'est pas lié à des français qui postent en écrivant en anglais, un truc du genre... Il n'y a pas une détection automatique de la langue ?

D'ailleurs... Français, allemands, espagnols, russes, c'est pas parce qu'on a un forum multilingue qu'il faut arrêter de parler votre langue, non mais ho =_=

Quand je vois des messages qui ne sont que en anglais de la part de gens qui savent parfaitement causer français, alors que la fusion des forums est là (pour les anciens messages je pardonne)... je déprime moi :'( résumez au moins dans votre langue natale vite fait !

Apparemment, le bouton « traduire » est proposé lorsque le petit drapeau en haut à droite du post ne correspond pas à la langue par défaut du joueur. Ce drapeau est défini lorsqu'on sélectionne la langue de son post au moment de l'envoyer.
Si certains postent dans une langue mais oublient de la sélectionner dans la liste déroulante, le drapeau en haut à droite de leur post ne correspondra pas forcément à la langue du message.

Par exemple, si je poste en anglais en laissant le « français » (par défaut) dans la liste déroulante, les francophones ne verront pas le bouton « traduire » puisque le message est censé être en français.

C'est ça. Le drapeau doit correspondre à la langue du texte. Faute de quoi, le bouton traduire ne sera pas disponible dans la langue indiquée par le drapeau.

Other games - they give you a cookie whether you succeed or not, in fact you don't even have to participate. Ryzom takes your cookie, eats it in front of you, and slaps you 2 or 3 times for bringing a cookie in the first place.

There is an interaction between the language you choose to read things in and the language in which you post. The latter is set by the pull-down box at the bottom of the composition area, and it is not necessarily the same as your default language. (For instance, my default language is English, but when I opened the window to compose this message, the composition language was set to French. I changed it to English.)

So if you write French words but the submit language is set to English, I will not see a Translate link, but you will. If you hit that llink, it will translate French into French ! The lesson is to check your submission language setting every time.

This is independent of the use of [EN ] [FR ] [DE ] etc. to put multiple languages in a single post.

'Submit [English]' allows to quickly post in user chosen* language. Language dropdown and 'Submit' allow to post as other language.

Those who read forum in french should see 'Submit [Français]' for example.

that's exactly what it is bina, like i've said previously, EVERY post should have the translate option regardless of any default setting (just to combat issues like someone posting in the wrong language with the wrong language)

force the translate button on ALL posts 100% of the time (even if it's an english post and your default language is english)

(on this thread button on far left said "submit [english]" however drop down button was set to french, now what if i type this all in english and then click the down submit without changing from french, easy, it'll be in english but french players won't be able to translate because of a simple error. (force translate button on all threads and posts)

there, i've said it more then once, so maybe it'll stick this time (been talked about now 4 seperate posts on this thread)
