Being a tryker citizen, I am happy that i am protected from threate of mara. But Being a player/ citizen of Atys i say lets play fairly. we can find some solution of this problem. After talking with subox, i knew that this problems arrise due to some player was attacking taged kara/kami when they are afk. thats why whole mara is blamed for this.
I want to ask only one Question to them: are happy killing those player who are in afk? is this what you call yourself as a great whatever you tink yourself...
I am not taking anyones side here (niether tryker not mara ) but you are the one who make mara in game to kill other race and you are the one who banned them in city.

Last thing, We can find some solution of this problem. it is not impossible to find solution anyway.
Dont know what to say thats why i write down what i think. just one thing lets play fairly after all it is a game not real life. Thats it.

The event guards did not get spawned for any which afk-killing in Fairhaven, they got spawned because we (Syndicate) gatecrashed the Tryker Assembly in Avendale ... we attacked 1 tagged up player, who first attacked us .. but we made peace again and left the assembly, then the assembly itself decided to tag up and fight us, while we were leaving, which was fine, we had a lot of fun (actually all of us, you can ask Jazzy, they all tagged up AFTER we were leaving, so they wanted to fight) until the event guards got spawned, which were totally overpowered and far too many for a 5 mara team. But anyway, THATS why they got spawned.

You blame quite a lot for to say you are not taking sides ... and let me tell you this .. if such a kill does take place, its usually personal (from both sides), which means there has been history .. and in case of a lot of kamis it is usually that they themselves like to sneak into our camp .. and kill us afk at the stables. An eye for an eye, no? And are we really to blame that you judge a book by its cover and say "one Mara does this, so all Mara are bad" ?

Well anyway, all of that aside, cause it doesnt really belong in this thread, I am sure we can find a solution at some point, but until then, rest assured that Tryker is safe. No marauders (i.e. marauder players) in your cities anymore .. i am sure you are all very happy about that :-)

He wasn't attacking syndicate at all, never seen syndicte afk killing either.

There have been ppl killing afk tagged up in past (wich when I see it send em a tell to let me know when they are back while I keep em in coma)and thats when the taliari I guess started asking for those guards. I was here last big taliari meeting some weeks ago I was just slacking and went into channel because I was bored. Back then they where already discussing the guards.

No - they have been in the making for quite a while - maybe since the lovely role play between Syndicate and Tryker Federation army - and Jazzy did ask for stronger guards at the last (all languages) meeting.

Also - you must involve the French forums in this debate - because it is the French Trykers who have demanded the guards

I was surprised the Guards are so bad / hard /tough as I thought the Tryker French were enjoying the fights (lovely Role Play from Jazzy and Cybeline) - but I am beginning to suspect that they just want Marauders out of the game altogether and that this aim is supported by event team and developers as Trykers got their guards within a month - whereas Marauder are still waiting for strong guards in their own city so they do not get farmed by homins who tag up just to kill them there, and do not tag up anywhere else

It is not a case of taking sides Shvet, it is a case of feeling that the French are runing the game - and their love of role play means certain homins (Suboxide) are being forced into a role play they do not want. Also that the French do not want marauder in the game at all

Let's just delete marauder and get it all over and done with - then Syndicate can go karavan and get them all sorted out

Roflol. And this is the problem. Plz help the marauder organization!

I say give them a city that newbies can spawn to from Silan. How are they to recruit new ones at all, they all have to be masters practically to make it to Hidden source village. Maybe put a village in each region, Idk.

As for the guards, i say make the cities secure from them!! AOS!

However... at the same time, i think if you make a location in each regions where a homin can come up and do something where they can lose fame with each of the races with no gaurds around, maybe an agent of Melkiar, or Akilia. Put the NCP out in the countryside, maybe even in PR. Then they don't need to go into the cites to 'lose' fame.

Oh, and i say Strengthen the Marauder village too, (but wait till I get my achievements done!)

That would only make sense if everything available (for instance all Occs) and needed (fame NPC for the rite) was actually in marauder camp (or close to it, so reachable without being killed by guards, as future marauders need to talk to NPC for taking and fullfilling rite). But unfortunately that seems impossible ... though i will never understand why.

And btw .. this question goes out to all those Fyros, Zorai and Matis 100% fame friends ... what makes Tryker so special THEY get extra security and YOU dont? *giggles*

Is it really impossible to decrease fame without the magistrate npc? I know that homins prefer that way because it is quickest.but can't you kill some Trykers somewhere outside of cities to lose fame? Or is this just to tedious to do?

you could kill guards but it would take an awfully long time to drop fame to -42. plus the regular tryker guards are quite tough anyway so you'd need a healer and/or nuker or a team i suppose.

Just to drop in a few points about some things I have noticed in this thread.

Firstly Shvet this has absolutely nothing to do with ganking, something which occurs on both sides of the coin sadly.

Secondly I think the Tryker guards are way too strong as it is. You actually run out of stam before killing them which is just stupid. Normal homins don't have tons of hp, Tryker guards shouldn't be an exception to this. Especially from a roleplay point of view Trykers have never been especially strong as a fighting race, why should their guards therefore be harder to kill than the Fyros? Also Bittty I wonder how long the marauders have been putting in petitions to have actual working guards. Perhaps that should have been prioritized over making the Tryker guards have more hp, which seems more like a personal favour than actually anything to do with game mechanics.


Thirdly I would actually be in favour of a small group (say 5) anti-marauder guards IF a few requirements were met and the guards were somewhat interactive:
  • Location: They would have to be placed deep within the city out of the way of the places marauders usually go to. So not near the guards we have to kill as part of our rite, away from occupations and of course away from dear Subo's favorite sitting spots (Stables etc). The idea is to make them a fun thing for marauders to do rather than just piss them all off.
  • Interactive: In terms of the guards being interactive this means that the marauders can actually get something positive from them, rather than just making the french tryker players happy. This would be an opportunity to introduce "civ points" for marauders, say you get a certain amount per kill.
  • Difficulty: Not a ton of hp and incredibly hard to kill. Looking at it in terms of civ points, the totc run for normal nations is a walk in the park. However I do think the new guards should be social with the old guards so adds the interest of a patrol joining in the fight.
