“What to do if you find yourself stuck in a crack in the ground underneath a giant boulder you can't move, with no hope of rescue. Consider how lucky you are that life has been good to you so far. Alternatively, if life hasn't been good to you so far, which given your current circumstances seems more likely, consider how lucky you are that it won't be troubling you much longer.”

I don't actually know of anyone with marauder fames in a Kami or Kara guild who roleplays as a marauder. Instead, from what i know, they are only "marauder" for the teleportation system. This in my opinion is fine. There are many neutrals who are aligned Kami or Kara for the teleportation system, I don't see why this should be different for Marauders. Also Marauders are an organization, not a religion or civilization.

Somewhat of a side-note, but I always found it funny that a nation-aligned guild can have members with high personal fame with the enemy nation.. e.g. a matis guild having an Atys Citizen (+50 with fyros while the guild cap is 0).Astarth -- if spies are indeed to be allowed, then I demand again to be able to join karavan guilds with a kami-aligned char.

But do we really need strict RP in the game?

Other games - they give you a cookie whether you succeed or not, in fact you don't even have to participate. Ryzom takes your cookie, eats it in front of you, and slaps you 2 or 3 times for bringing a cookie in the first place.
