IDEAS FOR RYZOM

(perhaps this is a place to apply the full power of the new encyclopedia) similar to some of the rites we currently have for hp/stam/sp/focus permanent boost.
these rites could also provide other boosts such as:

a rite to increase the amount of weight a player can carry (say 2x normal)
a rite to reduce the amount of focus used for a harvesting action (say 3/4 of normal)
a rite to reduce the amount of focus used for a prospecting action (say 1/2 of normal)
a rite to reduce the amount of focus used to craft an item (say 3/4 of normal)
a rite to increase the speed of a harvesting action (say .5 times faster)
a rite to increase the rate of a harvesting action (say .5 greater)
a rite to increase the rate of an attack action (say .2 higher rate)
a rite to increase the speed of casting actions (say .2 faster then normal)

these are but a few potential rites, given that the requirements of each of these rites would be very "expensive" (meaning they would require many steps, thus would take quite some time to complete due to the level of help these rites could potentially reward)

Sorry, Talkirc, but the bonus for these are awful imo. I have nothing against any of the rites, but they give FAR too great a bonus for completing.

I like the fact that harvesting and crafting are getting some love, but that's one whole lot of love compared to the little bit of boosts that the current rites give.

i just used random numbers, it was to get the ball rolling, perhaps you could fine tune the amounts, and this was but a fraction of the possible rites, these were just a few i could think of quickly off hand, any options you might like to add, PLEASE, feel free to.
