This month (can't tell you the exact date), I've been playing Ryzom for 10 years! Started back in the first open beta and been hooked ever since.

I'm curious to know how many others are left from those early days; or even earlier! Roll call! :o)

You can't "complete" the mainland. If one thinks one has seen or done everything there, one is kidding oneself. But be prepared to "get out what you put in," because the mainland does not coddle or hold hands.

Other games - they give you a cookie whether you succeed or not, in fact you don't even have to participate. Ryzom takes your cookie, eats it in front of you, and slaps you 2 or 3 times for bringing a cookie in the first place.

**My player does, I've only been around as Anzhanto for a short time. ;)

Time flies indeed! My 10 year anniversary passed without my notice a few weeks ago! Missed a splendid opportunity for celebrating with cake and bubbly...

Good to see the love of this game is weathering most things thrown at us, even though I have to admit I have l been unfaithful for periods of time ;)

Even if i'm out now for the longest period ever, except a return for the Megacorp event, i never consider myself out of Atys.

I will get my 10th year anniversary next 4th december, just a couple month after release.

And a big *HUG* to Katla, old legionaire as me :)

Once upon a time ... buying the (german) comp games mag Gamestar ... opening it up to find a cd in it ... an invitation to an open beta ... created a fyros toon, as in those days there weren't trykers ... and was hooked ever since!

I admit, I took a long break too, couple of years actually, tried to find a home in different games, but my heart was always on Atys, with this beautiful game and fantastic community, which is what brought me back to actively play on Atys again with Seralee, which is what holds me here, day by day.

So yeah, my 10 year anniversary passed too, if i remember correctly, that mag popped up in Febuary 2004. I sure hope there are at least another 10 to come!

Ryzom was released for the Mac, if I'm not mistaken, in May 2011. As one of the first F2P MMORPGs available for the Mac, it caught my attention and I first played a few weeks later. Mac users will always be latecomers to the party, but we can only be envious of those of you with 10 years on Atys :-)

I passed my 10 year mark been awhile in fact. Wow hard to believe. I have played many games but always return to Ryzom. This should of been one of the top games but so many never knew it existed. Still amazes me how great it is. It is still home for me
I don't get online much anymore, all my guild left when Game forge took over and still trying to drag them back. It is hard with out the friends I played with for so many years, for so very many hours a day, until the wee hours of the morning.
Yes Anzhanto, I remember when it was just Fyros, and how we were anticipating other races. Trying to navigate Pyr before a good map. hehe. Going to Kitin Valley to just try to level up lol. Lot of memories of things to do and friends that have gone on.
