I think the problem is, is people like you exodus who dont know enough about the game, its roots, or even the lore, because you cant even take an hour to read bits of it to fully understand ryzom, however you find the time to try and rip a well known and respected player like bitty for his knowledge of the game, if i ever see you ill put your childish self in check young boy.

Um... Lilz, I think that was over the top and unnecessary.

Exodus and I do not agree on things but we had managed to avoid personal attacks while forcefully advancing our points of view. I plan to make a short reply to him, and then possibly engage him in personal correspondence.

I felt you were sarcastic, when clearly there no point in doing that.

No sarcasm was intended. The links to the Lore were there to allow him easy access in case he wanted to debate scripture. In any case, I have explained my position to him in private. We were actually closer than we initially thought.

Oh and one more thing, you *were* a karavan on Aris, you are neutral on *Atys*. Big difference, what was on Aris, stays on Aris. Plain and simple. Try to see the current situation and then "tell us the good news"

I fail to see the relevance. I do not base my roleplay on the environment, except for the environment of the game (hence my emphasis on the Lore). I'm pretty sure I've been on or close to the "losing side" throughout my history in this game. (Neutral being a "losing side" to the extent that we don't have OPs.)

Kami Alliance is 80% of the population, majority wins, we had to adapt.

I'm suppose to fight against someone who uses all the dirty tricks and then besides the 80% of population I got more than 50% of karvans playing with kamis AND some neutral telling me how to play the game (yes, you are telling us how to play, cause you jumped in this discussion explaining us how you feel is right)

Exodus... disagreement does not equal an attempt at coercion. I am not (and never was) telling you how to play the game. However, I seem to have been under a misapprehension. I thought you were Kami/Kami Alliance. I apologize.

If the Kami Alliance is 80% of the population the game is better off than I thought in terms of subscribing players. I'm sure that I know well over 100 people who are not part of the Kami Alliance.

At any rate. I've tried to make sure that my responses do not need to even tempt you to reply. I will read all your posts again and see if there is anything I wish to talk to you about. If there is, I will write you a letter.

wow. to the whole thread, each and every post.

i'm a kami. i'm neutral civ. i just play to have fun, plain and simple. i love ryzom. i try to be friendly to everyone. that's my role-play. when those hardcore RP people go on and on about the other guy, i think about what that means to me... nothing. at an OP i fight with the kami, if at a SN (almost never) i'll fight on the kami side. that's the DESIGNED structure of those things, the rest of the gameplay, so everything that's not a SN or an OP war, i want to play with EVERYONE, try to get along with EVERYONE, hell i might learn something about the other side that i didn't know, meet people that i can call friend, that doesn't mean that when the programed structure of the game says i should play with my side i won't attack that same friend, i have a few kara friends that want my ass face down in the dirt as soon as an OP starts, and i want to do the same to them, as soon as the OP is over, win or loose, we get together and joke and laugh at the good time we had. that's what a game is all about, having fun, that's the only roots we all need to try to get back to, having fun playing a game.

no name calling, no fighting with anyone, just a point of view, mine, and no one, NOT ONE SINGLE PERSON has to agree or like it, but it's me, that's how i play, it's where the fun is, in playing the game. if you roleplay, i can respect that, but please don't force it on me, and please don't dislike me because i don't RP like you, my rp is to get along with everyone outside programmed structure as the makers of the game set out.

sorry for my rant, but after reading all the posts i felt it was time to add my two dappers too.

Other games - they give you a cookie whether you succeed or not, in fact you don't even have to participate. Ryzom takes your cookie, eats it in front of you, and slaps you 2 or 3 times for bringing a cookie in the first place.

Hmmm... it didnt occur to me that I never mentioned the fact that I was only referring to the PvP part between kami and karas.. example: at season change they help each other instead of fighting.

I hope that clears the room for interpretation... I cant believe I never mentioned it, for me it was too obvious to put it.. but yeah... PvP only

We all need to come together and bond Atys like it previously was, and make the community happy and proud to play the game again because we all know there is a lot of hurt going around.

Glad you seemingly found a way to reach you goal, although I somehow had a different understanding of the meaning of it then the one displayed right now. But pray continue ... I'm already off again to be happily ignored. =)

The same reason a Marauder is allowed: inside a kami guild, next to karavan and kamis at OP etc etc. What i find ironic though is that Exodus actually said the Karavan could burn and he keeps complaining about cross faction relations...
