Not sure they stole it, as it looked like it belonged to them anyway.

And the engineers simply picked it up. There was no fight as they were neutral NPCs.

Even though several Kamists and probably some Marauders were vocally displeased that they couldn't try to stop them.

I don't see why kamis would try to stop the karavan from taking the artifact -- it is undoubtely mechanical and foreign to our planet, let them get it and keep it as far from Atys as possible ;)

Because event team wanted some name calling from kami's against kara and be rid of that event line they started and 3days later posted we can't use ingame at all as fast as they could? And some kara picking up an aritfact while nobody could do something against it looked perfect. If they had done what ryzom says to be an dynamical mmo where ppl can influence the whole game then they had made those karavan attackable and let it run it's course and adapet to it. Pretty sure some kami would have helped kara there and vice versa (not every kami wanted it and probably some kara neither) and who knows mara could have ran of with it (or even worse some ranger to turn it into an termite farm).

Hmm - I did not know you were Tryton's spokes homin ... makes me think maybe ... well, what it must be, to be able to speak for him.
As far as Kami go - do you speak of Ma' Duk his/her/itself?
Again, to know both so well, it does suprise me, mayhap a meeting could be arranged through yourself with Elias Tryton or Ma' Duk his/her/itself?

Didn't give a damn? More Kami's gave C60 than the Kara did. The KINOs (Kami I Name Only) as I call them abandoned their Kami teachings and took on to aid the technological adbomination. True Kamis do give a damn, KINOs give C60.
