HI, I don't like the mainland I don't want to play anymore and I want to delete my freakin account and I can't stop payments ?? how come you people call yourselves fair business people and theres no option to cancel my payments!! I have never played a game with such a bias view to have to implement such a money scavenging account usage. Like I said I want my account canceled one way or another.

Please, before calling people names you should check if it's not your own fault. To cancel your subscription, go to your payment profile, then click on "Edit your personal information or change your password" and check the "Terminate your current subscription" box. Was it that difficult?

for someone with a simple eye yes I would not have guessed my personal information is associated with my subscription decision. If its easy for you and your happy with that then you wont have a problem I guess but shoot me down if you must. It is a problem for me.

Come on, there's around 5 links on the payment profile. I did not remembered it was there, I simply checked every link until I found it out. It took my 2 minutes maximum.

Hey Gasket,

I had the same problem unsubbing, but I didn't take the tone as Asqual did in asking. But then I'm also not a member of poaching kill stealing guild like him either.

Also I didn't have the option "terminate account" I had to change the payment method to "pay by cash." This is really the most obvious way to suspend payments.

If this is not a troll I would be curious as to hear from Rift Walkers as to what specific elements of the game, community and experience that led a subscribed player to depart in such a way.

1) A paid subscriber not liking the mainland is odd. 2) Not insinuating anything. Just curious as to why a player would leave in such a dramatic way. Could be a troll could not be? 3) Since the player was from the guild RIft Walkers they would know. 4) If RW knows of elements that made the player's experience unenjoyable I would like to know what it/they are. Perhaps it could help out other new players and those players that are helpful to new players as they encounter the mainland.

Meh, I wont let myself be dragged into this.. but.. lets think for a second.

1. imagine he is that type of guy that wants help FOR EVERYTHING, people at beginning re nice but then they will tell you to help yourself.. which could lead to ... see OP post.

2. I dont think you know what troll means, since this guy is just really pissed of - and talking from own experience, I tried once to unsub and I never recieved the email confirmation which is frustrating.

I just want another perspective. RW would be able to supply that. Until then it is one disgruntled person's dramatic departure and our speculation. If there are things that can be learned from it so other new subs stay then that is good. If it is just an unhappy player leaving despite the help that the community is known for then that happens also.
