Hi, I'm not able to connect to the ryzom server at the moment and was wondering whether it was just me or whether there were more general problems. This is what I got when I tried pinging the login server:

$ ping -c 4 shard.ryzom.com
ping: unknown host shard.ryzom.com

I also can't connect to anything else with ryzom.com in the domain name except through a proxy, so it could be my ISP (or the Chinese government) has decided some blocking is in order.

You could try getting in touch with a csr on ceb => https://code.google.com/p/cebmtpchat/downloads/list

but right now there is no csr on there (it's around the time some should start logging in), Ulukyn is in there but he isn't verry active so can take some time to get a reply from him.

btw. reset modem?

You are right: if I use a VPN (even if it's just to another building in the same city) I can connect fine.
