Back story for event NPC's - IDEAS FOR RYZOM

This game says it's all about roleplay but it's verry steep to get into it one of the reasons is if you go as a new player to an event you have most of the time no idea who what npc is. (and with 3 history's getting added into one it's not any easier)

BUT there is the right click => info tab <= wich isn't being used :s

Why isn't this used for event chars so new players and forgetfull ppl can have a quick read when they popup and have an idea what that event char is about and what they can expect from it?

Well, you can't walk around in the real world either, having signs attached to people "this is Carl Sagan and he's the creator of SETI".
Yet I agree, it would be nice to have the info available once you talked to the people and actually know who they are and what they do :) Alternatively or additionally this could be player-editable notes.

True can't in real world but here it's in-game already some ppl have elaborate profiles filled in why is this empty on npc mobs and event team members. For mobs it's easy just put the small texts in it from the atys.ryzom.com lore pages.

I remember asking that around 2 years ago on the french forum but the event team replied they couldn't do it because it's wayyyy too much work to do that for every NPC. I guess someone could do an encyclopatys web app though (there is a lot of information on the NPC here)

Do you know anyone who actually looks at that info for player characters on a regular basis? I know that there are (possibly) two people who have done so to mine.

It would be nice, but it would also be a shitload of work.

I check player profiles regular bitty and I should fill in my own profile again aswell. I had a long nice story in the past (long as in game breaking long since it was so long it ended up messing up my char's ability to change titles took ages to find the problem) since then I've been running around naked thinking about what to write there again.
