Apikeys are used for services like (test) bmaker or Zyroom (needs to be ported to new api) or RyzomArmory (also needs to be ported)

Yesterday all values in the response of my toon was blank. Today when I query the api, all I get is:

<error code="503">character data is not initialized</error>

Edit/update: This error has been here all day. I found back my old laptop that is still running previous ubuntu (I can not log into the game anymore from my desktop), and tried to log in the game, as soon as logged in, the error was gone. Not sure if there is any connection there.

Yes, error #503 means that you need to log in that character. Web server only gets access to char data when char is saved ingame.

I don't know if Misugi is around or not, I've downloaded the source and later tonight I'll see if I can update it just in case.

Update

Delphi 7 Personal and Win7 x64 don't like each other. I'll have to give this a spin on my desktop come Monday.

i've ran into misugi more then once recently, so he's around, try an ingame mail, just remember he's a french speaking player (to the best of my knowladge) so it might help to keep things simple and direct so that google can translate it properly.

Other games - they give you a cookie whether you succeed or not, in fact you don't even have to participate. Ryzom takes your cookie, eats it in front of you, and slaps you 2 or 3 times for bringing a cookie in the first place.

The problem is that there is no official annoucement for this (like for the in game webapp ) and he was waiting for the new api, if i had not tell him about that post, he will be waiting for the new api to come.

And this section say "Web Apps Bugs..." and is english only so we are not always looking at it.
And it's a little confusing to know something about all that stuff actually.

But know he know about it and he will look at it so good luck to him :)

Well, zyRoom is now compatible with the new Ryzom API !
You can download it (version 5.0.0) on my Website: http://zyroom.misulud.fr

Now, I should notice here some problems about the new API :
My character Lusima has no "race" in the XML data ? (empty value)
What is the "statenergy" node ?
The "range" property is not specified for all weapons.
Why "craftparameters" are small floating values ? (durability, weight, dmg, speed, modifiers, factors, protections, and others...)
