Other games - they give you a cookie whether you succeed or not, in fact you don't even have to participate. Ryzom takes your cookie, eats it in front of you, and slaps you 2 or 3 times for bringing a cookie in the first place.

Welcome back, Artean :-)

The old rootball just keeps on spinning around, and a lot has happened in the last few years. These forums will give you an idea.

There are many players still playing who will remember you; veterans from as far back as the Beta are members of my own guild (Cara Via). I wish you luck in finding old friends. New friends will be easy to find.

Last July they merged the three servers into one and it meant resetting all players' characters.  Your stuff has disappeared because of the server merge.  It happened to all subscribers.  We kept our levels but nothing else.  Even Guilds had to be re-established.

So, grinding for fame and dappers is what the rest of us have been doing since then.  It has been a lot of fun (for me at least).

i myself am kami, but don't hold that against me, i'm a nice guy, arfur is a kara guild, there's also rift walkers and just us to name a few kara guilds you could talk to.

There is a Guild Registry on these forums:

but there is no indication on there as to how active the Guilds are.
