Virg will be able to speak for himself thank you very much. Some things should be unavailable such as the devs magic wands. I will not be happy with a simple electric mace. The whole point in this post was to get items that have already been introduced into the game opened up for the player base. I am not saying make these special items easy to obtain. I am merely saying make them obtainable.

From an in-context point of view why does Mabreka have that mace? The answer because he is famous within his nation and been rewarded for his deeds and actions. A player may be equally as famous as mabreka (100 is 100 no matter who has it), and there is a system set up to reward players who carry out deeds for the nation (civ points). Why shouldn't someone be able to get mabrekas mace then? I'm not saying make it cheap but at least make it available.

No. Mabreka doesn't have his mace because he is famous. He have his mace because he is the Theocracy's leader. His mace means "I am the Leader fo the Theocracy", it doesn't mean "i'm really really famous in the theocracy, look at the funny toy they gave me"

I tend to somewhat agree to both Virg and Icus. To Icus insofar as the very weapon the leaders wear should be and remain unique as the leaders are. To Virg insofar as a strong incentive to assume citizenship and excel in it, even as a lower level player or mere roleplayer, would be no bad idea. Still, citizenship is not so highly respected by many. The skin of the weapon might be similar to that of the leaders, only smaller e.g. not to spoil their significance.

The -1 for Virg is not right; in fact; my problem lays with the nation leader's weapons losing their significatnce.

There are others skins that exist, that are not "present" in the game. As Icus said, you can see them in the client. But hey... don't tell me those guys got special weapons for their fame. Don't tell me you're as famous as a king, emperor or whatever, and that you deserve to be awarded the same weapon... I'm sure you can name the queen of England, but I doubt you can put on a name on England's most decorated soldier. And even if Excalibur has never existed, looking back through history, the weapons worn by kings usually were emblematic of their functions.

You can argue it's a fantasy game and could be different; I tell you it should be rooted in a bit of logic. Just pic up a different skin and I'll agree with the essence of your comment.

I guess I haven't seen Mabreka's fame tab. I assumed he had 100 fame max just like everyone else. Also in terms of IG fame not many people roleplay or can name the main leaders so I would say some, if not quite a lot of players are more famous than the leaders.

These weapons by the leaders aren't some weapons that have been handed down generation to generation and as proof of this emporer dexton actually had a sword not a burning axe. Besides even if people were able to get the same weapons the leaders still have their unique armour and decorations.

I would be happy with another skin I guess. There are just so many unobtainable skins within the game that the playerbase can't obain its frustrating.

This is why the specific skin for the sharükos is the Imperial Sword, not the Imperial Axe :) which, of course, has been given to Lykos after Dexton's death, because he is the sharükos now.

It's not only Mabreka's fame, it's his position in a hierarchy. This is even more poignant in a supposedly primitive society as those on Atys are: the rulers are distanced from the population. This is how humans have always worked, and homins on Atys have some very interesting semblance to humans, neh?

You as a simple citizen, no matter how esteemed/ardent/illuminated etc you are, you can't have the same ensigns as the rulers. Unless you are granted such privilege specifically by someone higher up in the hierarchy, for specific deeds done. The difference in concept is that anyone can get high fame, if they put in enough work; but recognition and appointment have to be specific to your person.

I think a set of armor with good boosts and maybe the nation symbol embroided on each piece would be sufficient reward.

I would rather not see Mabreka's mace in the hands of anybody who is not Mabreka. Same for the other civ leader weapons. I might have a different opinion about tribal weapon skins but I am unfamiliar with those.
