You may have read my post about extraction time bonus, but i also was thinking:

Would we want a rite that reduces the available extraction time?

This should allow you to dig more of your prospected nodes, a method that is faster, uses less total focus, and gives more xp...

i say yes, though i would never use this myself, but what's good for me isn't what's best for the game, and there are other's that would want this even if i don't, so i'm in support because anything new in game offers more to current players and future players alike, much like my bulk upgrade idea for gh's and apt's would, but i've found work arounds for my issues in my apt, but still would like to not have a need for more then one GH.

Other games - they give you a cookie whether you succeed or not, in fact you don't even have to participate. Ryzom takes your cookie, eats it in front of you, and slaps you 2 or 3 times for bringing a cookie in the first place.

I understand that not everyone would use this, rites are optional. I do think most players lvl 200 and above would condsider some option to reduce the source time.
