I feel it's a little silly to run clear to the north end of Yrkanis from the south when I want to exit - especially if I then need to go south to reach my destination. An easy to implement (I expect) idea to fix this: Add a right-click menu to a piece of fence that's slightly different visually, with the option "climb over".
I don't think there needs to be an animation, just move the player to the opposite side of the fence. To avoid having this used as a 100% escape from aggro or bad decisions, perhaps it could take a second or two (still faster than running almost 0.5 km, or 1km extra if you're going south) and give it a high chance of being interrupted by attack.

Given that you can only get to the rest of the Majestic Garden by the Northern path, a gate at the south would seem to be unneccesary. Having said that, there are gaps in the fence every 50 -100 meters or so all around.
