First, i have to say that it saddens me a bit to see the thread [Zorai] Xyphacanthus : The Sword of The Botanist, which i see as a chronicle available for the players to read, but not yet to the character, being commented.
It's even more sad when it is done in OOC manner (i mean, even if it is a RP opinion expressed, who would write just a sentence and go away ? I expect an explanation of the context, or a letter or note-like writing)

This is true in fact for many others roleplay-threads, which do not appear as roleplay anymore. I beg peoples to think how this has a bad effect on the immersion (i hope this word exist) in the world of Atys.

Second, especially on Daomei's comments on Gilado Almati, I'd like to ask for the source of the information about the Matis King Domini. I have gathered informations from the Lore texts (of Aniro) and found that Aniro III was ruler in the years 2435 and 2436 (no date for the begining of this rulership) and that Yasson was King in the years 2480-2481 (but beginning when ?) at least to survive to the first kitin Swarm, and being murdered by Jinovitch later.
Of course, there is enough time for a King Domini. If possible, i'd like to examine the source of the information to get other dates for my history of rulers in Atys :)

Hi Feylin take a look at this excerpt from the encyclopedia some info can be found about King Domini - not sure if that fully explains what Daomei wrote though.

Regarding your other point I'm not sure if I follow you right but I agree that a lot of replies in RP-Threads are fully OOC and thus disturbing the immersion, but at the same time it's kind of weird to read the personal notes or thoughts by someone in such a public place as a forum usually is. (If not introduced in the right way)

To be honest though I find it hard to read long texts here in the forum - don't know if they are just written boring or if if it's the line lengths (widescreen + maximized window = very long lines) or the bright font on dark background... or a combination of all. I don't have that problem with the equally long texts in the encyclopedia linked above though.

Edit: while searching for that thread above I stumbled on some other info that might have been lost in the times as well but which is interesting none the less: http://forums.ryzom.com/showthread.php?t=19559

I want to answer two things: I am not sure whether the sadness of Awakened Feylin extends to the at least extremely questionable comments of Duke Ridditch in the French part [Zoraï] Xyphacanthus : L'Epée du Botaniste against the Atys Rangers or if that is just another piece of double standards. Granted that Arfur's comment may have been bit short, it opened a fruitful thread of comments. And no, [events (../../..) is not the usual place for Lore and chronicles, and personally, I disagree with this form here as well as with parts of the contents, and have informed the Event Team about my concerns. But events threads are open for players' comments and free expression of on topic opinions, and rightly so.

As to my explanations about Gilado Almati, I have added in an ooc comment the reference, which is the German Lore, and asked for corrective statements to help us all. We all are aware that the historical developments in our three roleplay worlds have widely differed, and that we are working hard on the peculiar task of harmonizing them. By creating a commonly acceptable past we are laying foundations for our roleplay future. Thus I fail to understand the complaints.

If the king mentioned is not found in other servers' history we may easily agree about uncertainties in the written record, no less than e.g. differences in the name of Karan Miela (Tamiela on Leanon) without major problems.

If you ask me seriously about the pointed text from Ridditch, it is a narrative of his (the character) thougts, written in a roleplay manner, related to the event, and not answering the previous text as if in a dialog via forum. So as well as the text from Tao Sian it is a roleplay story available for players knowledge (not characters, althoug they may have other means to know related events).
This doesn't mean I see nothing criticisable in the text : I doubt a homin can talk about genes and genetic consideration, because I sincerely doubt homins have the technological means to observe anything molecular-sized, or even cell-sized. But this is another concern.

Now, my dear Daomei, there was no complaint at all about your thread. I was asking the source of information, to know the source, not for whatever other dark reason.
You didn't mention a precise text of the chronicles, "Leanon Lore" ... sorry but i won't read all the Lore (I mean Chronicle texts) in German to find by myself, it would take me ages, and would be especially boring since i already know most of the stories, though it may help me improve my german.

About the king Domini, I must confess, my most reliable information is the memorial stele for Ser Almati found in Chilling Swamp. There, Gilado Almati's service for that king is confirmed (There should be pictures of the visit to the stele being published containing the text). The only other reference I know is indeed the mention made in the encyclopedia rite "Kitins in the Tryker continent" (I fear the rite is not open at the moment).

If we would have to get rid of that name it would not trouble me to be honest, otherwise I would welcome better biographical data. From circumstancial evidence I derive that he must have ruled before 2481, and, if the rite does not err, even in 2481 which would contradict karan Yasson being in office already in 2480/81. I would like to see the line of Matis kings complete and in good order, so I would be glad if I could provide better information.

Maybe we find something in the cours of our search ;)
