since there are certain mobs that give more exp than normal, such as kipees, kinchers and super herbies, i vote gingos be raised to a suitable multiplier similar to these.

someone's guide on BM explains that kipees are 2x kinchers are 2.5x if this is accurate i want gingos to be 15x exp, yes i'm just making fun of the stupidly overpowered gingo

XP might be fun on anoying mobs, dapper could work aswell let npc's pay for anoying mobs.

But i would love it more if campfires you could craft would keep agro upto some lvl away (not kittins but doggys and such) for like 25-50m then if you stayed close to your fire you would be safe. This would also camping in the wild fun.

ps. I do want to note that this isn't my original idea but somebody else who i forgot put it forward during the great campfire wars of fairhaven on aristople

ahhh, ya i didn't come to the ML till about a month before merge, i played in silan for about 15 or 16 months as a f2p, came to the ml with all my skills but ranged fight at 50+, so i never got to do the campfire things. (too bad i guess from the sound of it)

Gingo is not overpowered unless you're using the wrong thing. Elemental magic works fine. Could be wrong though, I haven't had to actually engage a dog in a long time .. just kill with enchants while dodging.

I'm totally interested in the option for a campfire to keep aggro at bay.. Tents have also been proposed before, they could work as a temporary MPA replacement, the mobs first having to tear down your tent before getting to you. Of course, a kincher magic hit would penetrate through.

sorry MJ but you would lose that poll, gingos ARE overpowered level 70-80 should NOT be able to continually blind madness you and thus smash all your hp down at a higher level it does not make sense, even with "max" desert resist to blind/madness, 230 homin vs 70 gingo not a good matchup, imagine what happens to the level 120 people? they are overpowered at 230 mob fighting a 70 mob would never lose to it but its not impossible for a homin

I like the campfire idea, just depends which mobs it frightened off.

maybe they should have greater effect on a PR mob? I'm imagining one of them running away squealing "bright light! bright light!" :D

camping in the open pr would be stupid anyway, those fires should just hold off the basic dogglike and catlike agro i think and maybe a wandering boss (imagine digging next to your campfire in loria) and campire should not keep agro away when put in their spawn region
