Just remember the 5 D's of dodgeball:

"Dodge, Duck, Dip, Dive and... Dodge"

(The radar set at 50m can help an awful lot with this)

I consider myself a good trekker. However, this is hard to prove while being in my guild.

So my top tip is: don't trekk with bina, and definately don't trekk with marceline. If you have to, tell em to go on follow and not touch keyboard!

On a more serious note, kill things before they kill you. If you start picking out and killing those varinx one by one, they won't swarm you. And when the opening comes, you run. What is there to cock up, really?

Well, the safest trekks is the best especially when people give you positive feedback. The trekks that are the most fun is MAYHEM trekks! Well, my tip to trekking is to pay attention. Usually when i trekk i don't pay attention to weather or season. But i guess that could help some! :) Good tips anyway! :D

Gasket, Naema -- I like to kill stuff preemptively too, but of course that's only true for the master traveler - and even then, you gotta have a disciplined group that won't run into more aggros. Not to mention the master mage who gets drained just by killing two mobs, and if your companion is level 30 heal..

About the Bina part, I don't know, it's interesting with her. Can remember one episode when we ended up fighting both Tramo and Kinagor in the Berello Gorge op. Might've been half my fault though. You should charge for a "Bina trek", running around Zora should become exciting :p

Anyway, talking about this I'm suddenly reminded of a kind homin who helped me get to Yrkanis in time for the 2012 Atysmas celebration, didn't know GMs would just teleport you for the occasion. I wish I remembered the person's name ...

i've had good treks and bad treks, exploring for yubo points has shown me alot about treking.

taking your time is number 1 on the list (but not the thing i do best sometimes, to my DP often)

a word of advice for a master that's going to trek a single noob (or even a few of them) anywhere, make them a max sap load staff, enchant it with a high level single shot heal, and load it with sap, that will allow them to help keep you alive on the trek. (staff doesn't give a boost to the power of the spell, but a shot of heal will still give over 500 hp; the only issue is that it doesn't zap all the sap a noob has in a single cast or two)

i'll think of more in the future, but this should help a little anyway :)
