One of the worst mistakes during the merge was - under my opinion - the wipe of all biographies without previous warning. Though I usually dislike picking on the devs I must say that this was a further example of their careless handling of user generated content - sadly. And it is a real pity. The new app is ways more powerful than the original profile, allowing for more options and languages, though widely unused til now. Ok, I admit that I was damn offended by the wipe, and it took me months to rewrite and use these wonderful possibilities.

To get constructive again: All who had written a biography before the merge and still own a copy, please add it. It was real fun in the past to read them all, it is depressing that there is virtually nothing, now. If you add, please add it under all three (? es, ru) languages, not only yours. That way, everybody can read it whichever language option is chosen in the client. Maybe some kind homin may help with a translation.

And, CSR and Dev, pls.: Isn't there a way to extract the old profiles and send them to those who ask for?

There's only one additional problem. right now the Biography's do not show up for anyone except the creator.

In order to make a biography appear, you need a leading

%%% En or Fr, De (Es, Ru also i think but have not tested) etc. before the text starts. As far as I know it will be visible for that language client then. This allows an english text for the english client, a french for the french one and so on. It may be a good idea to make the text visible for all languages. I do not know whether it suffices to have the leading

%%% En
%%% De
%%% Fr

one below the other then starting the text, but I think so

Now you should check if the text you place after the english marker is visible to other language clients as well ;)

I can confirm that yours is visible with English, French, and German client.
