I just wanted to say in reference to the Starter Guide: Ruins of Silan:

!!! Best new user guide ever!

While you could argue the finer points of fleshing out all of what a new user needs to know to get up and running as quickly and knowledgeably as possible, the comic book style presentation is one of the clearest and most concise styles I've ever seen for a new user guide.

Whoever did this deserves kudos and a Karma-Kookie. Unfortunately, the author is not credited. The app used to create it, Comic Book Creater, is.

See my comment to your other thread, Dudraig. That comic has been around for more than 6 years (which is when I read it when I started the game). It is a good guide, but some things in Silan have changed from when it was made.

Yeah, I know. The point of my posting was to recognize and promote what should be valued effort, and to (hopefully) motivate establishing a higher priority to updating things like this with the same style and quality.

Everyone complains but few laud - and I just like giving out Karma Kookies when it is well deserved. <chuckle>
