TECHNICAL SUPPORT / WEB APPs BUGS

Not sure if this is the right place to post an answer, but this is where I hoped to find it and expect other newbies might come here for the answer.

If you're new like me and can't log in to the forums, use your CHARACTER's, not logon, name and login password to get in. I ended up having to open a support ticket in-game to find this out.

To the devs: the welcome email I received after registering said, 'Log in to the forum with your login and password.' Would be good to change this!

On the main login page (not the forums) it does say this (http://app.ryzom.com//index.php) but the same information on the login link on the forums would be a good idea. It used to be there before the API change, probably just missed.

I'm curious how you came to that page. The link from the main site directs to forums.ryzom.com, which doesn't bring you to it. Nor does clicking the 'login' link from forums.ryzom.com. Not an obvious page to find!

Edit: nevermind, I found it. Simply by clicking the 'home' link! But still... updating the welcome email as well as the text on the actual Login page would be helpful.
