Hi.
I'm a former subscriber, but I wasnt subscribed when the character wipe went live. I tried to log onto my account but its not marked as a free trial, so I couldnt make a new character there with the free trial limitations. I either sub or dont use the account at all.

My question is this:

If I sub, will my old characters still be there, even if the skill levels, gear and resources are gone? Will I be able to select my characters with the appearance and names that I gave them?

Because if the characters are truly gone, I might aswell just start again as a free trial account and not bother subscribing just yet.

I would suggest writing to support-ee@ryzom.com using the email that you used for your old account and explaining your situation in full detail. (Include how long you've been absent, your willingness to resubsribe if you can get your old character back, etc.)

I have found that I get replies back usually within a day to day and a half.  You might also check and see if there is a CSR on the CeB chat channel.

i've came across other's that have poseded similar to this, and they have had mixed results, however i agree with bitty, send an e-mail, as that's been the best route to get what your asking done or at least looked into, some of the other's i've seen have indeed been able to sub old accounts with some if not all the things your asking about intact.
