basically what i'm reading is that this was an event related item, which leads me to this next question, when are there ever events that would end with a Q290+ mat? i'm all for partaking in any type of hunting and/or "goo" collecting for the achievement points, but i again ask, when/how is this to be done (note about the sap crystals, nice way to trigger an otherwise heroic achievement, since even the civilation exterminator {event related} doesn't drop mat's above 250, nor does it's token hold a Q that high {Q200 for the token})

so please anyone finds out about an event that might lead to a Q290+ item, send me an ingame mail or a tell to talkirc/talkbak so i can try to get involved with it. if invited to attend an event of this nature i'll be very grateful, and i'll only need to hold said item for one to two save's for the achievement to trigger, then i'll be happy to return the item to anyone that was at the event as well.)

Other games - they give you a cookie whether you succeed or not, in fact you don't even have to participate. Ryzom takes your cookie, eats it in front of you, and slaps you 2 or 3 times for bringing a cookie in the first place.

How difficult would it be to show the timer until next "save"? It would be extremely useful for exploration, and if it can be done client-side without loading the server..

I notice that team doing explore styuff all seems to save at same time.... if it's server wide, coud just be added toi compass like time.

Saves occur every 8 minutes. If you activate the timestamp mode of the chats, you'll have the last save time in the sysinfo window. You can then know when will the next one take place.

this always of course providing that nothing has happened to cause that last save message to be pushed past the limit of back scrolling. (if you are attacked by aggo and have to fight, the save message can be pushed past the limit of the scroll up of system info)

but yes it's every 8 minutes that we're saved, i'm still in favor of a timer in the opposite corner of the compass as the clock.

New issue:
Since yesterday night (nine years of Ryzom party) my account got two new achievements - and I haven't really achieved them:

1) My playtime is now allegedly 74 days while it was on the order of 37 before. It seems this number is accidentally doubled

2) The achievement for 5Mio Dapper triggered, but I still own only 3.4Mio. Maybe there's a similar, wrong doubling involved? The next Dapper achievement shows 0 of 10Mio, though.

I wouldn't mind if you, Cotare, take those achievements from me again, and I will get them back later once I've earned them *g*

I have also had some achievements trigger. "We already called a doctor" & Reach level 250 with 40 skills.

I have about 22/23 skills at 250 and im not sure on time played but it wasn't close to 365 days yet.
They all have the date stamp 10.10.2013.

As with Irfidel, you can take these achivments from me as im sure ill get them back one day ☺

In 'Crisis Proof', the achievement for total dappers earned, mine has been reset to zero for some reason. I don't know exactly when this happened - I don't check it that often - but last time I looked it was around 1,800,000 and I have earned more since then.
