My occupations achievements are looking somewhat strange. It seems that one level progression of the butcher's occupation does not earn achievement points. Is that a general problem or only one of my account?

Cotare, since you seem to be reading this: When are the Fame Achievements going to be debugged?  I have 48-50 in all four civ, 32 in Kara and 26 in Kami ... and no Fame markers at all.  I'd really like to get my Hominist and Theist markers.

I kept a broken armor tool on my mek, and after some time, the achievement showed up. My concern is about toolmaking tools, though. In the old world, I used that tool a lot, but it did not show the slightest attrition. Thus, this achievement group will probably never be completed, much less as op mat is much shorter in supply and there are 5 categories of toolmaking tools.

I feel that the tools break a lot faster now than they did before but i did not track the rate before, it is possible tools do wear down faster now so you might not have to worry too much about if you are "unable" to break it.... but hey, eventually it will happen, i don't want my tools to break, if they do, they do, but when they did, i still did not get the achievement- i will try what you said, keeping it for a while thanks for the tip

I did the measurement, before the fusion and after. The ratio of actions and hp is remaining the same.

But toolmaker tools are a different matter. In the old times, i crafted up to 5 egiros picks a week, and a couple of amiro and rubbarn tools every month. I should have seen hp decreasing at least after some months, probably earlier. They did never lose a single hp then. Assuming 400-500 actions per tool life, I doubt that I will ever see enough op mat in the new world to break a single toolmaking tool even if it degrades now.

It should be fixed.... was a simple typo in the script, hehe.

It is the same problem we have with the exploration achievements. Currently we can only evaluate a snapshot of your characters when the game creates a new save file. So unfortunately you will have to keep the broken tool in your inventory until it is tracked and shows up as completed.
Please report back, if some kind of tool does not get tracked. I'll fix it then.

I removed the tool making tools from the achievement now. You are right... it seems to be impossible to break one.

glad to see someone working on this stuff, i'm all about playing for the yobo points, i've found a few bugs, the biggest being exploration, i've sat in fairhaven for close to 10 hours total time nonstop in exactly the same place (right on the name of the city on the map) and still haven't gotten the credit, how long should i have to be one place to get my yobo points?

cotare, are you the achievement guy (or lady) to talk to? as i find bug's i'd be happy to let you know, as that's my goal to get as many points as i can.

Other games - they give you a cookie whether you succeed or not, in fact you don't even have to participate. Ryzom takes your cookie, eats it in front of you, and slaps you 2 or 3 times for bringing a cookie in the first place.

The "Not again" achievement should track DP correctly now.

@Talkirc:
Yes, I'm the guy responsible for the achievements *duck*.
I'll have a look why fairhaven would not track correctly and fix it as soon as possible.
