Suprisingly for me, or maybe not so much since I immersed myself in a French setting, this made a lot of sense when first read en Francais.

While I have no criticism, considering the amount of effort I am certain went into this, there seems to be at least one concern with the Matis that could easily lead to civil war.

I'm sure many, myself included, are very interested in watching how all of the intricacies are played through.

Had hoped the team would choose French as the language, though perhaps it could change from meeting to meeting--to include Deutsch and perhaps Español? This could help any number of aspects of a multilingual shard.

P.S. May I also suggest that we consider the earlier starting lands as the new starter areas--making them accessable for characters starting again at lvl 1?

I just have to say thankyou for coming up with such great solutions. The story is made much more exciting and interesting than just a delete reset change. i really look forward to seeing the cities being made more use of, events will definitely be a bit difficult and all the luck if you can actually pull off native Atys language events. The learning curve for these languages would be huge though.

Having a group of event translators could be doable but events would have to be very well scripted indeed and synchronizing translations could become a hugest nightmare. but i'm sure it'll all be worked out eventually if homins work together.

You can't "complete" the mainland. If one thinks one has seen or done everything there, one is kidding oneself. But be prepared to "get out what you put in," because the mainland does not coddle or hold hands.

Other games - they give you a cookie whether you succeed or not, in fact you don't even have to participate. Ryzom takes your cookie, eats it in front of you, and slaps you 2 or 3 times for bringing a cookie in the first place.

I actualy sort of did this the other day (without the dapper). Walked up to the transport guy at Pyr North Stables, clicked through the links to be teleported. Waited for the countdown. Teleported a few metres away cos I clicked Pyr instead of Dyron! lol

There are some people on Arispotle who are native Germans (or at least speak the language) and still prefer the English community. But they can always function as translators, if they are willing to. And if we're lucky, there are some French folks on Arispotle as well.

I'm such a froggy ! I don't play much, but if you need some help translating English to French or the reverse, you can always poke me... *is a native French speaker from Canada* And I know a couple other French speakers from Ari too, but revealing themselves is of their own choice.
