I think we can safe the game by attracting more players, so we should write some reviews and stuff on websites. I think It will help a lot.
All apple users should also rate Ryzom 5 stars in the app store, and write something there as well. It will get ryzom higher in the list and more people will notice it ^^

if ryzom played on android tablet too that is a huge potential market and the new tablets coming out are plenty fast enough to run the game

I agree whole-heartedly with this sentiment. I will be posting (and have already posted) to mmorpg.com, a website I frequent regularly. If the players want to save Ryzom, it's going to be up to us to promote it to potential players.

The game has been promoted in the past and a lot of people tried it.
They came, they saw, they left.
The problem is not getting people to try the game, the problem is making them stay.

None of you are really in a position to promote the game at the moment as it has been recently admitted that the future of Ryzom is up in the air.

The oldest and most loyal players have just had their hearts ripped out, everything may or may not be wiped after 8 years, the Dev team is 3 people who dont seem to have a great handle on the coding, major patch releases come once a year if that with game-crippling bugs that take weeks to resolve, and best of all its recently been admitted that it may not last much longer at all."

Not being intentionally negative trying to sell this to new players would be wildly irresponsible. I certainly couldnt do it with a clear conscience.
